Here is what was probably the largest standing stone in the world and it is in Brittany, in Locmariaquer (Morbihan): the "Great Broken Menhir" has been lying in four gigantic pieces for a few millennia... Let us be carried away to very ancient times, even more than those of the pyramids of Egypt and even those of the Carnac alignments.

Très didactique; un petit reproche: la Prononciation de " Er Grah". Doit se prononcer avec un h final légèrement aspiré en Gwenedeg.

Il y aurait au moins un intérêt à faire cela, outre d'avoir une meilleure perception de son gigantisme même en 4 morceaux… ce serait de savoir s'il y a d'autres gravures visibles sur les faces cachées du Grand Menhir…

Peut être n'était ce pas un tremblement de terre qui l'a brisé en quatre .... Mais une volonté de l'abattre.... !?!

C'est ce qu'on a longtemps pensé (cf. L' Abattage des Idoles) dans une théorie “séduisante”. Depuis plusieurs années, on a remis en cause cette idée, aux motifs qu'il n'y a aucune trace tangible de débitage par l'homme et que les parties du menhir ont perdu très peu de matière (comme ça aurait pu être le cas si débitage) et se raccordent parfaitement.
