The way we always comment ''Omg these heterosexual women'' for Trixie/Katya etc, I'm finding myself holding back the words ''Omg we love these tran*ies." But I feel like gen z would victimize that.
i honestly think that brittany is the only influencer “born” on tiktok/youtube that i would genuinely lister for an hour straight. incredibly smart and eloquent girl, amazing interview!
19:00 as a person who grew up in Texas and is unfortunately still trapped here this hit me so hard. People in the south think that if their kids go to college and meet anyone different than them they'll suddenly be corrupted when in reality if your faith is so weak that any exposure to any other way of thinking will instantly shatter it maybe you need to rethink your faith. I never had faith because it was so obvious to me that my local churches were mainly concerned with power and control even as a child. Their faith was a fence to keep others out and a cudgel to beat them into submission.
This might not be the place but I just want to say, the Church is man and man is deeply deeply flawed. Feel your aversion to the Church but don’t let it sever your connection to your own Faith, even if it’s not a faith in God as us Christians know Him. Wishing you healing ❤️🩹
Maddy really came out here, serving her best Joanne era drag, interviewing the next best straight ally, and best friend of the queens, Miss Ma'am, Brittany Broski. Yass Queen!!! Now we just need Trixie!
Brittany Broski winning Drag Race 72 beating out Tracy Martel and Suck My Phat Meat Balls was the most life- changing experience. Thank you Madilyn for having this queen on your show
It's interesting to have an interview like this with a person as open as she is. Usually we get to see a different side to people, but she's already so open and vulnerable online.
Maddy going "The Triality, cuz I'll try anything once, eughhhh 💅🏼" is the "You are missing that Uhnnnn" RuPaul talked about. Maddy, I think you got it. Killing it this year so far.
Omg it was so hard to get water when I was in Europe. The UK and Sweden it’s easy to get water, but good god I thought I’d die in Germany. 😂 Why is water so much more expensive than alcohol???
@@KenadianKenough Most of us simply drink tap water at home, so water bottles aren’t always readily available or cheap to buy in stores. That, and plastic taxes. Additionally, most wouldn’t drink water in cafes or restaurants, because you’d preferable get something a little different from what you drink at home, like soda, something hot, or alcohol.
@@egel7736Right? I feel like in Europe we drink more water day to day as part of routine so when you go out for food you make an occasion of it and have fizzy drinks or wine etc. Like when I go out I personally like to order food that I wouldn't or can't make at home instead of something I would cook regularly so similarly I take the chance to try nice wines and cocktails and aperitifs/digestifs. Also I think a lot of places will assume American tourists have a lot of money so they will sell the expensive bottled water because I've never had a problem getting a big glass of water with ice anywhere I've been on the continent
@@FountainWeeper Yeah, I can usually get a glass of water for free at Dutch restaurants or cafes when I just ask for tap water specifically! Just like you, I usually get something fizzy when I'm out and about, because I solely drink water at home :)
they're both so intelligent - this is such an enjoyable conversation! Brittany is absurdly hilarious and it was nice to see this more serious side of her. And Maddie is just such a fun, funny, and delightful host! i love this podcast 😍😍 thank you miss Morphosis!
47:00 The gag is that's my favorite character she has ever done too exactly because it was so repetitive and obnoxious I LOVE SHI LIKE THAT. that song makes me holler to this day 💀
Girl her makeup is drag queen level and even Trixie herself says so… and she’s seen Brittany up close and drunk as hell. Also she’d be great in any improv or comedy challenge.
@@dyce3754 i saw someone else mention that she would be fun as a celebrity guest snatch game contestant? i dont watch drag race regularly so idk if thats a common occurrence or not but i think shed be good at that! shes definitely not a qualified judge option but i think would be fun as a guest
I love that Brittany was giving advice about watching other interviewers. Something about that section just felt really kind and real to me. Or in gay speak, MOTHER
In USA you automatically get tap or get asked tap or bottle. But that doesn’t mean other places in an entire continent should be same and should automatically serving it. Some places you have to ask. Simple. Or they try charge for bottled water if you’re an annoying tourist.
I can't speak for the rest of Europe but I drink mostly ice cold tap water here in Norway! It's so fresh! Voss water is from Norway if anyone wondered, Voss is a place in Norway.
A lot if Americans just general is EUROPE. Say it like it’s all one homogenous place or act like it’s a country and not a hugely diverse number of nations that differ greatly. I’ve been to France, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Iceland and Ireland and know I’ve barely seen a thing or think I’m that well travelled. Just Western Europe and main cities. I’d never be ignorant enough to make sweeping statements the way most Americans do. Britney is actually reasonably aware and cultured compared to some.
I can relate to Brittany broski alot! 😂she is hilarious and I also used to piss off my Sunday school teachers cuz I had a list of questions about hell and its qualifying factors. I was Intrigued and nobody ever had answers. I had it figured out by the time I was 13 it was all BS
I don’t think people’s inability to be normal has anything to do with the pandemic and everything to do with being constantly online. People, especially younger people (I’m 30), have either lost the ability to interact with other people in real life or never developed it at all, and it’s really frightening.
