Hey Michael, the new house that sits there now, I did the glass work on that new house. I talked to the general contractor who was in charge of demolition of Brittany's house, he told me they discovered a lot of black mold. Her house was built with a poor drainage system, is what he told me.
That could explain the feeling of haunting-like experiences or the uncomfortable feeling that both Britneys were experiencing. Thanx for sharing the info!
I'd be curious if black mold was in the bedroom and/or bathroom that Brittany and Simon used which could be the reason it affected them and not her mother. Also, interesting if black mold exacerbated mental problems with Britney years later.

@@redlady8296 Well yeah it's suspicious. Whitney's on video pleading for the life of her daughter before she died. It doesn't get much more dubious than that. I also remember watching a video that seemed convincing to me that foul play was to blame for both Brittany and her husband's deaths, and it wasn't by her mother either.
I've seen other stories on Brittney & her husband was very controlling even joining her on movie sets & causing her to lose work. If she was a fading star it's cuz her husband was causing it. I feel that's why the reporter said that, all in LA know it's a tight community
King of the Hill fans would know her best as Luanne Platter. She voiced her for all thirteen seasons. Now along with Tom Petty (Lucky) and Jonny Hardwick (Dale Gribble aka Rusty Shackleford) we'll have to see who, if anyone will replace their casting in the return of the show that's in the works.
Her death and the death of Robin Williams are two celebrity deaths that I think of the most Robin as I was in hospital with mental health illness and Brittany as I've been hospitalised with flu and anemia and spent 3 weeks having I.V antibiotics and was really unwell, may both rest in peace
"Girl interrupted" was one of my favourite films ever. Brittany Murphy also played a similar character in a film made for tv called "David and Lisa" which i loved. She was a great actress who had an appealing charm and mystery about her.
I cried when they announced her death. I remember her performance in Uptown Girls. My daughter watched it everyday for a month on repeat. So, so, heartbreaking.
I was heartbroken when Brittany Murphy passed away. She was a ball of sunshine and deserved happiness. What could have been if Brittany went to the hospital. 💔 Thank you for sharing the story with us.
Thank you, so much Michael and Jessica for doing a video on the late, Brittany Murphy. She was such an amazing actress, who had the ability to draw the viewer in, so to speak. I loved her in the film, "Uptown Girl" with actress, Dakota Fanning. Though, she is no longer with us, she lives on in our memory of her. RIP, Brittany Murphy.
My wife played the organ at Brittany's funeral at Forest Lawn back in 2009. She didn't really know who she was, and it was just another job for her. Years later, we've been to her grave and I was telling her about Brittany's career. I think "Girl Interrupted" is my favorite movie she was in, too.
Nice, respectful tribute. Thanks for sharing. I had pneumonia once when I was around 15 & I felt dreadful. Not trying to make light of the condition though, but it did get me out of doing a speech in class (I was horribly petrified about doing these), & I repeatedly watched True Lies on VHS & laughing hysterically at it made me feel better (maybe not physically, but mentally I felt better). My late Mum got it around 2009 or so, & I wasn't much help because I didn't know what to do, & my Dad was in hospital. She did recover, although I don't believe she really ever got rid of all the gunk on her lungs. With a history of smoking & this condition, it eventually led to her being put in a nursing home in 2018 & she passed in 2022. Not the sole reason why she died, but various contributing factors.
So sad she was taken so soon. And then her husband passed away of the same thing. Thank you ghouls!! 🕊️❤️🙏 I agree with Jessica. Her eyes were so captivating. Her smile was infectious. I love Baby Ghoul's glasses😊
I had a terrible ordeal in my friends house when he was away for a long time, as the previous renters had damaged with all kinds of chemicals, bleach, ammonia, insecticides, kerosene heaters, everything mixing together causing me hallucinations, passing out n waking up not having moved a muscle the entire time, so much so I actually was interviewed by n helped by a toxicologist!!! Everyone first thought I was on drugs or crazy. It took gas company employees that were older n had seen rare old fashioned occurrences, electric n magnetic experts, sewage experts, toxicologist too try n pinpoint this poisoning that was occurring to myself n my Maine Coon Gibbie!!! There was old insulation that had been ripped n shredded in the crawlspace n attics under the eaves that were generating asbestos into the air n I was breathing it n ingesting it causing it to ping out of my skin n hit the mirror n I could hear it. I didn't know there was a stink stack in every house n the one in the bathroom was punctured n the gasses were causing me to go into comotose like sleeps. Clouds were coming out of the sewer in the laundry room n you could see it at night lurking about. Gasses were making the toilet move sideways n the paneling going up the stairs bubble n swell. The black mold was in the drains coming up in gross tar looking liquid that made my face break out when leaning over the bathroom sink looking in the mirror as it was coming out of the drains!!! Kerosene from an old space heater absorbed into the regular old furnace lining n was putting layers of oil all over my curtains n clothes,!!! This poor woman n her husband dying in the same way 6 months later was a diabolical poisoning in that house, whether accidental or not, I can guarantee from my bizarre experiences!!! It is a TOTAL SHAME no one has been indicated or had the toxicologist investigation done to this house. That is evident when her previous owner or renter left the house thinking it was haunted, n she was smart enough to run!!! Hallucinations occur n confuse the mind when poisoning, whether intentional or industrial, occurs. Just thought I would share this horrendous experience of mine in case it can help anyone else in the future!!!
I love how Micheal and Baby Ghoul ALWAYS go to the grave sights and give the subjects such love and respect at the grave sights, the level of respect these two have is amazing and such caring and loving. ❤️ you two are such a blessing to keep these folks alive. She always seem to usually be an up spirited person. Usually smiling and goofy and happy. It must have been great to be around her. This world needs more people like her in it. God bless her.
She was also in 8 Mile with Eminem. Such a great and talented actress. Sucks that she’s gone. Her, Kobe, The Rev, and Joey Jordison are all deaths I’m very sad over. This is always the reason why we all need to love each other and get along with each other. You never know when you’re gonna leave this world.
I was watching the video she did for MTV back in the day on RU-vid fairly recently where she went to the video store. She was so bubbly & hyper, seemed like quite the character.

She was a wonderful actress. I remember my brother taking me to see 8 mile at the theaters. That was the last movie he took me to before he passed away. Good times. RIP 🙏 to both
She was really good in the movie, Don't Say a Word, with Michael Douglas, and to me, she showed she really had some acting chops in that movie to play kind of role that she did. I also remember when she was little, she was in the sitcom, Drexel's Class with Dabney Coleman. Such a talent taken at such a young age.

Still to this day, Brittney Murphy's death is a complete shock. She died way too young. I've heard about the black mold possibility in the house. I never knew that she was afraid of the house, and then, for her husband to die very similar is scary. She was a very talented actress, and my favorite movie that she was in is Spun. Normally, I'm not a fan of when certain places get torn down, but for Brittney's house, it was the right thing to do. As always, thank you for another great video. RIP Brittney and Simon! You can kinda figure it was some type of respiratory irritant. For two people to die in the same house, is very weird. It would almost have to be from a respiratory irritant.
I remember many reports that she was extremely underweight and that it was a factor. She was often times described as shockingly frail and increasingly so towards the end of her life. Being a performer is already a self conscious experience, but adding public scrutiny to that and expectations on women adds another layer to it (especially the way things were in the 90’s & 2000’s).
For me, it was definitely her laugh. I loved her laugh so much! And I think my favorite movie of hers was just married because she laughed and smiled in it so much.
Brittany Murphy was great and super sweet. My husband was a PA for the movie Spun and he got to give her a ride home one time, he said she was really nice. So sad that she passed. 🧡🖤🎃

Y'all are slipping. She was in Cherry Falls, man. HIGHLY underrated film. Genuinely scary. Premiered on USA when people still cared about Halloween. They did a week of horror movie premieres. I believe Terror Tract was another one. Some of us also know her well from Boy Meets World. She did a few early episodes as Topanga's friend.
If you haven’t seen it, my favorite film of hers was “The Dead Girl”. Lesser known but the performance was so spectacular! I think you guys would LOVE it.
In the movie 8 Mile where Jimmy and Alex are talking in the parking garage is one of my favorite Brittany Murphy scenes. She talks winning a modeling contest and the judge said he'd her her out in New York. Jimmy asks her what if he isn't forreal and Alex replies with "All I'm looking for is a ticket". I view that moment as it's important to have dreams and to get away from a crummy situation.

Just a few days before Thanksgiving, my mother caught what we found out was pneumonia which she was treating with a bunch of cold and flu meds. My Dad and I had to stage a pretty much sting operation to get her in the ambulance to the hospital, where she was for nearly a month. Now she's getting better in a nursing home every day. Point being, I remember hearing about Brittany Murphy and her husband dieing of pneumonia and thinking, "What?! That's just why they tell to make sure you wear your hat and gloves." Turns out it is NO JOKE. Dad and I are waiting for her to come home to celebrate Christmas around my crazily expensive $15 Christmas 🎄 that's even smaller than Charlie Brown's. Point being, don't wait until you're fainting in your bathroom or your family pulls a sting operation on you to get you to the hospital; just go to the doctor when you feel like you have the worst flu of your life. Also, don't forget Luane from King of the Hill as one of Brittany's great parts.✌️
Brittany Murphy is one my favorite actors along with Drew Barrymore. I loved them both in Riding in Cars with Boys. Highly recommended great watch and it’s funny

I met Brittany Murphy at the wrap party for the movie 8 Mile that my then boyfriend was a part of the film crew. She was dancing and I joined her. She had a unique style of dancing and I told her I think she’s a great dancer but I can’t keep up… she was so sweet and said I was fine. I hate dancing, really. Anyway, when she said that to me she held my both my hands and looked me in the eyes. It was so unexpected. What a nice person, I thought. Not what you’d expect from Hollywood. I got some other no-so-nice scoop about Brittany while filming, but I’m not gonna judge her. She was a sweet soul. I was so sad when she died.
