Incredible skill was used over a 7 hour time frame to move this house up a steep slippery incline on Faraday St, Napier , New Zealand. Most awesome day capturing it as it happened. These guys really earned their wages today :)
Awesome! Can they do that also with STONE-Houses? Other Countries, different way's to due thinks... Here in Germany they don't move Houses... Normaly...
GOOD JOB GUYS!! I'M A STRUCTURAL, MOVER from Vancouver canada. Love watching this stuff. I work for Nickel bros.Check us out. Any way, what's the capacity of that trailer? And do you guys ever just use a beam dollies set up, or walking beam?
as far as i know nz only uses the type of trailers in this video, its very uncommon for a multistorey structure to be moved here, mainly houses and other prefabs
You need to look at these NZ designed ELEVATING TRAILERS before you ask these questions. Two main builders of these trailers A) MTE (Modern Transport Engineers) & B) TRT (Tidd Ross Todd)
