Hornby has already done an M7 for years. Better they put their efforts into something that's actually new.

Why Hornby's W1 is a good model? Both Bachmann and Hornby 9F are good models.

@@LNER985I have a W1 hush rebuilt model and an old Hornby 9F, Hornby only go so far with their models in my opinion, i would like an ultra detailed model which i believe Accurascale will deliver and a sound fitted option as standard is a win win in my book.

@@StormmyStormmy Hornby's new 9F and W1 are ultra detailed models. Having multiple duplicates the same model isn't ideal for the hobby.

@@LNER985 The new 9F is ultra detailed but the W1 isn’t, I have a W1 which is very detailed and that’s it, when you look at the Trix Flying Scotsman that is on another level, it has amazing sound with diecast engine and tender bodies and it smokes, it also has a great lighting package, Hornby only go so far on their models, as modellers I sure we want the best deals and quality for our money. Duplicate models aren’t bad the best one will be purchased by more modellers.

Personally I'd like to something else on the market, rather than the rut that Bachmann and hornby are in now where they just retool the same handful of subjects over and over again (even to the extent of doing things other manufacturers are also doing) rather than doing something new.
