As a Raider fan, that segment makes a lot more sense. AOC needs an additional safety blanket. And as much as I would have loved Jayden Daniels, but I was not willing to give up the draft capital. I'm still baffled by ATL taking Penix.

Having two very good Tight Ends is better than a high draft pick diva wide receiver. He can be coached up to help us with the run game. This is good pickup for us.

The people shitting on this pick are totally clueless about football and only have surface level knowledge (or lower) about the sport. Bowers was literally the best player available, especially after every single quality QB and receiver was picked. Also, compared to Michael Mayer, a block-heavy tight end, who we selected last year, Bowers is predominately a route running tight end, similar to Travis Kelce, so Bowers and Mayer are two different kind of players playing the same position. Should we have addressed our secondary or O-line with that pick? Sure, but our defense is already pretty good, and something we can address later in the draft, or with free agency. Same with our O-line. P.S. Bowers is a Napa, CA native, and he was in middle school, when the Oakland Raiders used to practice there, so he's familiar with the Raiders fanbase in Northern California. The whole thing has come full circle for him, so I for one am happy with the pick.

Every time I turned on a Georgia game Brock was always making plays after plays. The kid is a beast!

The comp, as was noted on the show, is Brock v us losing Hunter Renfrow. And, while most of us loved Renfrow, Brock wins this comparable in terms of immediate impact to the offense. Brilliant move.

Why are people still referring to Bowers as a TE?

Everyone asking who is going to throw him the ball, I ask. Did any of you watch the QBs at Georgia over the last 3 years? He is going to be even better as a pro production-wise because NFL QB play is light years ahead of college. Also this offense features TE.

Raiders were stupid for passing on Taliese Fuaga. Team needs a beast of a blocker on the right side more than another receiver. AOC couldn't find Hunter how do you expect him to find Brock?
