i’m putting brou on the bud list. How is Jordan love not on this list. He has a huge contract. After only having 8-9. Good games yes, he beat the Cowboys. Yes, that happened. Who wasn’t going to beat the Cowboys in that round let me know he was absolutely a huge, not solely but a huge part of why they lost that playoff game how was Jordan love not on this list
Actually, "heavy is the head that wears the crown" is from a William Shakespeare play, Henry IV. Though its technically a misquote and should be, "Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown,"
Another amazing line from Brou. Just comes up with these every week! “We talkin’ about practice, not a game, not a game, practice!” How does Brou think of these?
Some well deserved Usain Bolt love Edit: (Some guys in the comments missed the point, is IMPOSSIBLE for Bolt to have as many medals as a swimmer like Phelps, due to the lack of modalities in comparison.) Both are great tho
Dear Wildes, Love the show! With the Olympics happening now, I was wondering what sports should I start training Ryan and Brian in? And if there is an SBOB Olympic team you are rooting for? - enter Braking ( break dancing at the Olympics) - And Brou’s own break dancing squad called the Brou - Crew Best, Donjo
brou is our wise dad , wildes is the funny wanna be magician uncle , and nick is the super loud uncle smoking black milds arguin in the back with a crowd around
@@iainthadbreakfast624the difficulty level between what? What would he be comparing it to? How did y’all pass 6th grade science class? Y’all didn’t learn abt the scientific method?? 😂😂
Dude swimming is so much harder than running lmao. Guess what? You walk first then you run. Swimming comes way later on. Swimming works every bit of muscle in your body, and to a degree that you are extremely sore than even laying down hurts
If Brock goes in a deep run in the playoffs again then he’s absolutely a top 10 QB I’m tired of the fact that people hold him to expectations to a first round pick while giving him 7th round Credit…..not to mention it was absolutely the 49ers who let Brock down in the Super Bowl with McCaffrey fumbling, a punt return fumble, and a missed kick
No he didn’t as a former swimmer and track and field runner he did not all he showed was his ignorance to competitive swimmer, Michael Phelps is definitely the goat Olympian
@@CorePathwaybrother be for real for once in your life 💀 no one in the modern world is doing both track AND field events at the highest level. It’s not feasible.
@@CorePathway Lol jumps are vastly different than running. That’s like saying instead of the 100m backstroke, they should do the all the dives and synchronized swimming.
Nick's analogy comparing for Bolt vs Phelps is nonsense. More appropriately, for Bolt to be compared to Phelps, he would need to participate and dominate in everything from 100, 200, 4x100, 400, 4x400, 800, 1500 and long jump.
Thank you Nick, I’ve been saying this about swimming for years!! It’s basically the same event, just slightly longer, or the same distance in a different way 🤣
Love the track and field exposure but gotta say, Brou is wrong when he brought up the possibility of medaling in the 100 and 110 hurdles, there's zero overlap between olympic sprinters and sprint hurdlers (110/100). Bolt's height and style would have made the 110 hurdles almost impossible for him due to the frequency required by the event
Ok Nick. In swimming there’s 14 individual events. In gymnastics there’s 14 individual events. In track and field there’s 24 individual events. It’s all helps fault he is able to do different strokes and Usain Bolt only specialized in a few? Phelps went 8 for 8 in 2008. He accounted for 22% of US gold medals that year. We should be thanking him. God bless America.
He threw 11 ints last years practise yet was the most accurate and best thrower last season. Lamar has more ints and Allen but nobody talks about them…
@@user-pr3jm9jx1fSo did a lot of QBs they don't get a story either. Idk why a QB doing their job like every other is supposed to garner special attention
Nick, the thing with swimming is, you’re not supposed to win different disciplines! That’s why Phelps is an anomaly. Usain Bolt could’ve entered in the hurdles if he wanted! He could’ve done the steeplechase or the high jump, but he wouldn’t have won. These swimmers train their lives for one event. The fact that Phelps could beat the butterflyers in butterfly, the IMers in the IM, AND the freestylers in freestyle, both at a sprint and at a distance, is LUDACRIS! Also swimming is mostly won by 21-27 year olds. He dominated before his peak and after. His longevity, versatility, and highest peak are all unmatched. I understand swimming gives out a ton of medals, but you’re not supposed to win in something that isn’t your main discipline, Phelps made it look easy, he is the anomaly.
I agree that Nick's take was harsh, but...comparing the high jump (not even running - its 10 skips with acrobatics)) and steeple chase (2000-3000meters) are very different to 100M Sprint. That would be like Phelps doing 1000M+ swims and diving, which he didn't do.
Michael Phelps is the greatest olympian ever. Nick is flatly wrong about this. Phelps broke tons of records and won roughly 8 times the medals of Bolt. Get real
Nick knows absolutely nothing about swimming. The events are completely different and specialized. Being able to win different events is the equivalent to being an Olympic sprinter and also being an Olympic mid-distance runner and also being able to do the hurdles. That is how good Phelps was.
Nicks Swimming take is off. Phelps is the greatest Olympian because he was great at all those disciplines. Just because there are multiple races in swimming doesnt mean you are going to be good at them. But for comparison, since Phelps got 8 golds in one Olympics, if a runner like Bolt wanted to achieve that they could by just looking at the sprint disciplines. 100 m 200m 400m 100m hurdles 200m hurdles 400m hurdles 4x100 relay 4x400 relay So it is possible. The fact that swimmers can do it is just a testament to how good they are
Dear Wildes, Love the Show. (Thank You). The inspirational Bud List is my favorite motivational list in all of sports. Although Brou doesn’t intend it to, it also creates appropriate fear. Chris is basically Mussolini, or Broussolini. Better to be feared than loved, or both... FTF is #1 Love, Barak P.S. I'm excited for next week's Wilde's edition of the Bud List, if it happens but also fearful Brou isn't disrespected.
Theres the 100m, 200m, 400m, hurdles, relay. Theres plenty of races Bolt can compete in if he wanted to. Nick is acting like theres only one race and that it. No other way for him to earn a medal. Why doesn't he run the 200m or 400m? If he's the greatest Olympian (and i think he is amazing and him vs Phelps is a conversation and i can see it either way) then he should compete in more races.
Hey Nick, let’s look at Phelps in just the butterfly in the Olympics. 3 golds 1 silver in the 200m, 3 golds 1 silver in the 100m, 4 golds in the 4x100m medley relay. I love Bolt, but using your argument of just one running style, the man still has more medals fwiw
I dont think Nick realizes how much more swimming taxes the body than track. So Phelps swimming 17 times in 9 days getting 8 golds and 7 WRs, better than Usain
Brou has really changed the sports world: he believed in Patrick Mahomes before anyone else, brought Sopranos into the sports world and created the term “I believe in you” 🤯🤯🤯 GOAT BROUSSARD BBAY
Swimmers are the top echelon of athlete at the Olympics. Period. I understand the take and love for Track runners and gymnasts, in this example, but swimmers' athleticsm TRANSCENDS any other athlete ability at the games. Pretty bad take, Nick
I'm putting the editing team on the Budlist for cutting/starting some segments midsentence or mid-take this past week. Been a bit off lately, but I believe they can turn it around before football season starts. I believe in them.
