They love to talk about how we came up short but never say how the game was officiated. And that’s the elephant in the room that brushed under your rugs because to admit it would ruin the whole experience for you..

The officiating wasn't the issue. The teams had near identical penalty yards to each other by the time the game was over. What lost the game for the Niners was the conservative play calling of Shanahan, the fact that he abandoned the run game, and the fact that he chose to receive first in overtime because he didn't know the new rules that both teams get a chance to score and it's no longer "first TD wins" like in previous years. If you make it to the Super Bowl, you better f*cking know and review the rules.

@@TWDub I’ll give you this one rigged up play that you can go look up yourself right here on RU-vid. In the Super Bowl on the Chiefs last game winning scoring drive it was 2 and 7. Patty rolls out on 3rd for a very short gain.. Then on what was supposed to be 3rd and 5 they were awarded a free first down 💯💯 Don’t tell me it wasn’t about the refs 😤

Shanahan just gets in his own head and tries to be cute in clutch situations. Putting Kittle in the backfield on that 3rd and 4 after the 2 minute warning was dumb. Everyone knew it was a pass then. Put Kittle on the LOS to better help for the blitz you know is coming...
