This is what happens when a major talent is almost ignored, cannot believe this kid was last draft pick! Absolutely explosive, creative, and so damn precise! Purdy has arrived with a big ass bang!
@@LLoweGovna who is throwing the ball it's not all his team mates. Use your head. He spreads the ball to five different team mates each game . And he is going to do that against the Eagles also.
love Purdy man he’s so confident without being cocky, he’s explosive , knows when to commit to his run and when to pass out of his run , he’s still learning but he’s a future franchise quarterback if he continues to do what he’s doing
That's silly. You seem to be saying that Jimmy G is responsible when a O-lineman gets flagged. But Purdy isn't? All of Purdy's bad plays (and there have been as many as Jimmy G made) are just ignored? I like Purdy. Am happy with him. But not at the expense of ragging on Jimmy G or any other 49er QB or player. Certain of you fans don't seem to get it. Ragging on Jimmy G means you are also ragging on our coach and GM, because they picked Jimmy G. Purdy, Jimmy G, Trey to an extent, are Shannahan-type QBs. The QB position on a Kyle offense is not like with other teams. It's a different role. Because unlike many of these faux fans, Kyle knows it's a team sport and teams that work together as a unit go farther and that a QB is just part of that equation.
@@SRSOSChannel2 Not at all. Did you read my post? I'm just saying that when we are backed up or in a third and long, I feel we have a chance, more than not, in still getting a first down. Under Jimmy, a 5 yard penalty on first down or a couple of yards lost, appeared to be a drive killer. I'm a big supporter of Jimmy and actually thought we had a better chance to make the playoffs once Trey got hurt. I'm still a fan but you can't deny how the optimism has gone up since Brock stepped in.
@@josephpearlman4010 Again, it's the over-glorification of one position. Take away the mobility diff and they are basically the same QB, if you go by stats. You can say anything you want but to say you're a big Jimmy fan and then heap all the blame on him for, let's say bad blocking or missed assignments or whatever. Hey, here a whatever. How about an "elite" defense giving up three touchdowns in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl? I'll preach it all day long, it's a team sport. Too much praise heaped on one individual negates the work of others within a team sport. Think I'm mad Brock is doing well? Hell no. I love it. Just tired of the haters that claim to be fans of the team yet knock one of our QBs. Anyone with a problem with Jimmy or any player on the 49ers should direct their dumbass remarks at our coach or GM. They pick the players these faux fans apparently hate.
@@SRSOSChannel2 No blame at all, where do you get that? I'm just saying that with Brock in there that the Niners are more like when Montana, Young or Garcia played. No matter the down and distance, you always believed there was a chance. With Jimmy, he played it a little safer and didn't take risks. Now that could come back to bite Purdy in the ass because so far he has been lucky that more of his passes haven't been picked but for now he is playing lights out. In fact Jimmy played that way his first 5 games with the Niners and then, all of a sudden he quit taking chances for the big reward. Been watching the Niners for over 50 years and have seen all their modern QB's play. My opinion, take it or leave it.
I’m thankful everyday that the niners finally have the top rated quarterback. It’s been too long. Brock Purdy is the best quarterback I’ve seen play in the last 20+ years. 32 college records at quarterback. 120+ touchdowns in high school and back to back. State championship game loses. 100 + touchdowns in college. Top rated quarterback in the nfl. 2+ touchdowns in every nfl game he’s played.
The cowboys have the same type of gameplay that the Raiders have so I expect this next game will be a Rocky vs Ivan Drago type of matchup and I can't wait. GO COWBOYS AND LETS HAVE A SAFE BUT EXCITING GAME SUNDAY. I think Purdy would make a great Cowboys Quarterback in the coming year's. I just somehow feel he's going to play for us one day.
@@SD-pi9co I'd be upset to if my last superbowl win was 95 cause ours is 96. Yall only made it to superbowl to get owned by the eagles in 2018. Ain't nobody even caring about second place except 9rs fans. Hell yall could win the super bowl and cowboys would still be front page and yall would be second page. Smh
Now he starts setting nfl records. Youngest quarterback with 300+ passing yards and 3+ touchdowns in a game breaking Dan Marinos nfl record. 133+ quarterback rating in first nfl playoff game. 1 touchdown and 3 field goals in the first half and 3 touchdowns and 1 field goal in the second half. 8 scores and only 1 punt in his first playoff game in pouring rain is not bad.
That first game he played that throw he made against Miami ,across the middle to kittle taking the big hit ,that throw told me everything I needed to know and see from em....
If the 9ers win the SB with Purdy and he wins SBMVP, it definitely will be. In all my years watching football he reminds me of a combo Marino/Montana, he's cool and calm with a quick snap and accurate. I believe he has what it takes to be a starter.
Thank you for compiling this together. I stopped watching football for a while. But I found out about Purdy last week from a coworker. Can’t believe our Niners have a solid squad on both sides of the ball now. This is crazy 🎉
Purdy is really something special. He's got the speed of his receiver team down and can throw right at them no matter what pace they are running. He is so darn accurate. You can see the spark that he has provided to the entire team. They all look like they are having fun! Great job Purdy!
Awesome hilite reel! This kid is legit. Quick feet, good decisions, accurate, everything. He's also made us remember Kittle is a damn good receiver. And how good is CMC!? Niners are dangerous, but we have are starting QB for the next 20 years
Two plays I love the most this season: 1) That deep ball to Kittle up the middle for the TD that was intended for Aiyuk, and 2) That pass to Deebo for the run up the sideline for the TD.
As its happening we don't take a break and appreciate how special this young man is. After a year plus and the run he's STILL on...unbelievable! He's special!
I’m grateful for jimmy g did for us but the truth is he was never the same after his injury and to be honest out offense has not looked this good in a long time let’s go Niners
We got are deebo back and there come for blood specially having a new rookie quarter back me my boy dad been niners fan for 30 years never gave up on them win loose
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS GUY MAKE ANOTHER RUN PURDY IS AWESOME LIKE I SAID, AND SOMEBODY LAUGHED AT ME WHEN I SAID BEST QUARTERBACK IN THE NFL BAR NONE!!!!
Purdy mush have sat and watched every second of practice, tapes and anything else he could get his eyes on. Slotting in so well takes a lot of work and as basically the 3rd string QB, he wouldn’t have got that many snaps in practice. Shows he’s got the dedication and the right work ethic. He’s also got an offence that’s on fire, which helps to say the least.
Purdy is just a baller! He's way beyond his age. I think the last year of his college made him humble and he tried to do to much. He recognized that he needed to improve and not put everything in his shoulder. In NFL, he has a lot of weapons so doesn't have to do everything and utilized all Kyle Offense to full effect. He's just a winner!!!
We face Dallas cowboys in the NFC divisional game this and you have the media already praising them like they're going to win super bowl.. the Dallas cowboys very very talented team with a great quarterback of Dak Prescott.. but I hope our 49ers can give them a game... And just maybe maybe that we can pull off the win.... I remember the big rival between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas cowboys in the early 90s that was said it was football at its best during that generation... If somehow out of San Francisco 49ers can beat the Dallas cowboys we will have a huge rival again... And if any rookie quarterback can pull that off it's Brock Purdy
I mean don’t count your chickens before they hatch but With Elliot not even averaging 4 ypc going against the best run defense, forcing dak picksalot to throw against the defense with the most int’s in the league
And the swim move escape throw against the bucks to debo was ,gold when I seen em do that swim move excape ,,I seen everything I needed to see ,he clearly is diffrent like,
People are looking at this the wrong way. The 49ers’ draft of Lance led them to Purdy. If they don’t make the trade to move up and get to Lance, who has issues learning and staying healthy, they probably never choose Purdy at all. Lance led them to Purdy, and they should view it that way, even if he was viewed only as an afterthought, practice squad player and a potential backup when they chose him. They essentially traded those picks to wind up with Purdy; it just wasn’t in the same draft. Fate…karma…they work in mysterious ways. They hit the jackpot! In a redraft, Purdy goes no lower than top-10, possibly top-5. Purdy understands the assignment: (1) take care of the rock, (2) take care of the clock, (3) move the sticks, (4) convert in the red zone.
I wish the highlight for the play at 4:10 went five seconds longer. I love hearing Kevin Burkhardt say "Who is this guy?!" Might be my favorite call from an announcer this season
After watching this matchup, it seems obvious that our guys just want it more. They're greedy for yardage. They're looking for the endzone on every play. They're disappointed if they dont hit paydirt and "only" got 30 yards. Im extremely impressed.
It's very possible! SF football team is very capable, they're championship caliber team. I like his competitiveness and humbleness that he brings into the game.
you can make your videos a lot better. higher quality video, and get rid of those transparent captions. they take up the whole screen and i can't even read them lol. but i enjoyed it still so thanks for making this, and congrats on 100k views in 9 days
Not a 49 fan so this is not biased. I would like to point out that there have been many NFL quarterbacks who have been drafted much higher paid way more and accomplished way less than this kid.
The piggyback knee-on-your-poor-leg-ankle tackle on Jimmy is now overwhelmingly banned by referees and scorned by players. It breaks a leg or ankle almost everytime - a dirty play in every aspects.
