@@JoelGarcia-lu3twlol you spelled mahomes wrong Purdy has played better than mahomes this year it’s so obvious the chiefs have the best defense in the nfl
@JoelGarcia-lu3tw carried by who? He doesn't have CMC, Aiyuk has yet to show up, deebo has been average this year. Everyone on offense has already missed some time this year. He's the one that's carrying the team right now.
because its way easier to plug in a running back into an offense with a solid offensive line, good coaching, and good quarterback play to compliment the good running back play. the jets have none of that bozo
I love it when Brou makes a football segment sound like amateur hour. It’s still a good show. But I think Nick is a little frustrated with how Brou debates, knowing that Brou’s overall understanding of football is suspect.
Funny how Nick twists his QB takes when it comes to Mahomes. Mahomes threw an interception in the saints game and was perfect? No mistakes? “It wasn’t Mahomes fault” yet every other QB that throws a pick when it bounces off the receivers hands is the QB fault.
13:18 - Nick says Mahomes made ZERO mistakes in the Saints game 14:40 - Nick literally says Mahomes had made a mistake in EVERY game 💀💀💀 I love Nick but he is letting his fandom dictate his analysis and it’s just annoying seeing him move the goalposts for his favorite team
As someone who’s been a chiefs fan before Nick was even born, I agree his fanboy takes get a little muddy at times. Can come back to bite you when you least expect it. I still love the Chiefs and appreciate Nick’s fandom but I’ve seen enough “sure things” slip away in life to be a bit more cautious with my expectations.
@@sportsandanime315people aren’t unemployed and have all day to sit around and watch tv like you 🤣 I’m only making an assumption because that’s what you did to that guy
Look, I’m not anywhere close to an Aaron Rodgers fan. Not really a fan at all, but Nick is saying Aaron Rodgers and Davante won’t click right away because it’s been 3 years without each other. We all know if Tyreek went back to the Chiefs, Nick would think the impact would be immediate even though its been 2 years apart lol Rodgers and Davante one of the deadliest QB/WR duos of all time. I think we will notice their offense is much better right away, but that’s not saying much so far this season.
We saw earlier in the year running things "Aaron's way" on offense wasn't working. That why they changed OC's, bets on Aaron tries going back to going his own way with Davante and doesn't work like it used to when Aaron was an MVP level player.
@@nyjetsrepresentative I don’t think he feels that D.A. is the threat that some opposing defenses think he is! I’m glad the Chiefs didn’t focus any energy on getting him. He’s past his Prime! So is A. Cooper and DHop. I’d love to see more of Andy’s 4 TE plays. Talk about confusing a defense?
@@kennyhiggins7806that’s only gonna work until the defense plays an offense they can’t stop. With the offense they have now they can’t go score for score. Defense is the best in the league so they’ll be good.
The only numbers you can judge Patrick Mahomes by are playoff wins and Super Bowl rings. He's not always flashy, but he finds a way to break his opponents heart in crunch time. Give the stats accolades to the other QBs..the ones who can't win Championships... Mahomes wants the Lombardis. 🏆🏆🏆
Nick said the same thing about Derrick Henry that he wouldn't help because the Ravens already had a good run game. Their is a difference between Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams just like their is a difference between Derrick Henry and Gus Edwards. Sometimes it doesnt matter if "youre already good at something." Adding an all pro level player will always improve your team.
Multiple things can be true at the same time Patrick Mahomes is playing poorly this year compared: yes Brock purdy has the potential to outplay Patrick this week: yes Every logical person would choose Patrick Mahomes to be the face of their franchise over every other quarterback: yes
He does not play defense or kick field goals so he won't elevate the Jets into, Super Bowl contention at best they get in as a wild card and are smoke there- SMDH 💯
@@blackanimelover18 Rankings only look good on paper but what matters most is getting stops when they seriously mean something, and they haven't been doing much of that , TIME WILL TELL THOUGH 💯
@@kevonsidek9737if Broussard is brains dead then Nick does not have a brain and never had one to begin with. Broussard is saying things that are actually true
Mahomes is very Brady esque in that sometimes the numbers aren’t the best, and yet you know he’s just better than everyone else. That said, you gotta be honest about his performance and say it’s not quite at his standard right now. It’s not an indictment on him as a player it’s just being honest.
Devante was a top 5 wr his first year in Vegas. His play didn’t drop off until he had Jimmy g( who isn’t good enough to play in the league according to nick) & then gardner minshew. Its wild how often nicks takes contradict themselves.
Why do so many say Super Bowl rematch? That rematch already happened, and we won that. This is just another regular game. This doesn’t include crying for 3 months if you loose. It’s next weeks game. And stats don’t matter against W’s.
Yeah it's weird they equate a Super Bowl to a regular season game. A Super Bowl rematch is meeting in the Super Bowl again, and that's it. Nothing else qualifies.
Nick is spot on when it comes to Rodgers and the Jets. We were told that the Jets were a QB away from being Super Bowl contenders. They’re 2-4. Lol, lmao even.
Ya'll made me notice. Brady really only brought Gronk and lucked out A.Brown. But for the Jets. Rodgers brought his Coach, A wide receiver, I think he brought a O-lineman last year, now another receiver... Like??? What was his evaluation of them to bring pretty much 2021-22 packers with him?
Did Nick really say that by perfect game he means Mahomes didn’t make any mistakes at all and then follow it up 3 minutes later with Mahomes has made a mistake in every game he’s played this season 😂
@@dinkumthinkum4247 When the producers told him he was taking over Skip's time slot, Nick took that literally. In all fairness he's doing an amazing job mimicking exactly what Skip would do, it's just that Skip's shtick is old and played out.
Nick plays his part to perfection and I love it lol he literally have y’all so mad and upset everytime he has a take and yall can’t help but to show frustration
No he literally explained that he meant: he hasnt missed any throws. Like there is a guy open and he threw it to someone else and it was a pick etc.. Not that he’s played mistake free football
Basically Mahomes has played worse than Rodgers who Nick says isn't a top 10 or even mediocre QB anymore. Yet Mahomes is the best in the league apparently, makes sense.
So he blames the Chiefs players for Pat Mahomes INT against the Saints but then spends the ENTIRE week sooking that Rodgers said Williams ran the wrong route. ?? This guy honestly 💀
Nick: Purdy’s performance this season is irrelevant because he has the 7 Avengers (2 of whom are on D go figure and CMC has been out so far this season) and a head coach with a great offensive mind. Also Nick: Mahomes’ performance this season is irrelevant because he’s got the best coach and the best D, so he’s just a game manager. Also Nick: Anybody can play as well as Purdy in his set up but only Mahomes can be a good game manager for the best coach with the best D. Make it make sense.
Purdy with better numbers, worse talent around him THIS YEAR (everyone hurt), making as good if not better throws and scrambles. Purdy looks great and it's time people give him credit for that. You can only play like a top 5 QB for so long before you have to admit that he's at LEAST a top 10 QB. Come on already.
We can criticize Nick, and I don’t disagree. But let’s be honest… 1. Jets won’t win the division 2. Purdy is good, but he’s not a force multipler 3. Chiefs will probably 3-peat
Nick didn't mention anything about his "perfect game" being about not making real mistakes. This is why I love this show, Brou isn't afraid to push back or call Nick out when his inner fanboy starts taking over and he starts flip flopping.
Mr. Consistency has to be the most inconsistent guy ever lol... Nick is all over the place with evaluating and commenting on QB play, stats, etc... dude is hard to listen to this year
No other qb except JJ is putting up the numbers that Adams did with oconnel, minshew, carr and jimmy as his QB. 14tds 1st team all pro and 1500 yards with carr having a very mid season is crazy😂
Nick’s stubbornness is a hindrance to his credibility. If Lamar played the way Mahomes has been playing, even with a 5-0 record, he’d have Lamar in the bottom 10 every week.
nick wirght a couple episodes back- "chiefs should always be favorites because they have the edge and QB, Defense and coaching ☝🏻🤓" this episode- "well brock better outplay the goat of our generation bc he has better skill positions :("
I get what Nick is saying like even when you look at the Chiefs receivers nobody averages more than 35 yards a game. Rice was, but he’s injured. The last few years they’ve kinda built a team that doesn’t have to rely on Mahomes being superman ever week.
I feel like everytime the Mahomes Purdy convo comes up (every show ) it’s the same convo everytime It can even go back to last year where everyone wanted to DOG on Mahomes untill the playoffs
Dear Wildes, Love the Show! I think Nick just gave Professor Brou a Lesson on "Math via Popular Opinion". Seems like Nick must have a professor or PhD human in his family.
This can easily be summed up by Nick really cannot stand Rodgers. Rodgers has 3 more TDs than Mahomes and 1 less INT this year. To listen to Nick you would think Rodgers hasn't even completed a pass much less has actual better stats in some key areas than his golden boy.
the offense doesn’t stink. you watch them and can see their good. they need to figure out situational football which includes red zone. 3rd and long etc
