The Brodix Dragon Slayer Heads, dragonslayer heads, we will be using for this blown SBC build running Enderle injection.

These are SBC 23 Degree heads ported and built for boost. Planned boost level of 25-30 lbs of boost with a roots 8-71 blower running an Enderle Bird Catcher injection with methanol. Special shoutout to Eric Weingartner on the heads as he ported the heads to take the boost! Using PAC Racing Springs, titanium retainers and T&D shaft mounted 1.6/1.6 rockers. Heads will be connected to 1 7/8" headers made by us with 3 1/2" collectors. Heads were drilled for the Stahl bolt pattern. The exhaust valves are also inconel due to the heat they will experience under boost. Brodix heads with boost!!

This is the second set of Brodix Dragonslayer heads for us and we love them. Conventional 23 Degree head so all standard valve train components. The exhaust valves are Inconel due to the boost, but worth the investment. I think the 8-71 Blower will utilize these heads very well considering the amount of work Eric put into them and the velocity and flow numbers!!!

Couple years ago a family friend sold me his Top Proline iron heads... company went under in 03 but I did some work to them and ran them for a season until I got a 408 combo and changed some stuff... ported them out to 240cc, had 64cc chambers, 23°, and I had them flow tested when I was done... 290cfm at .650 lift. I was extremely impressed. My 406 combo was 12:1, cast/iron intake, block, and heads. Made 650 hp na and I ran 9.80’s... ran 8.90’s on a 200 shot. Probably some of the best heads ever made. I turned a lot of heads at the track when I was running in the 8’s with full iron small block😂

Kevin Wilson I love my new 408 combo with the aluminum heads, but I’m running the Pro Toplines on my 355... ever since I ran 9.80 on motor and 8.90 on spray with an all iron motor I just couldn’t let them go😂 you do the same my man. Keep up the killer content

Exactly. My 406 FT has lunati 10120318 with only .454 lift...220 Flotek heads.. a great flowing head responds differently to cams. I have over 500lbs torque at 10.2/1 pump gas from 2k all the way to nearly 5k. You dont always need a crapload of lift. And now I can boost safer later. Great video.

With so many nitrous\boosted engines now a days, how come we do not see more heads with closer intake and exhaust valve size\flow numbers?

Wow. I replaced some afr heads for the dragon slayers cnc 68cc chamber they are 225 but flow over 300cfm as cast I like them but wish i would of ported them like that. However im also not running boost just big inch small block should rev to 7k. Its built to but I have a hard time pushing that hard

Hey what part number are the shaft rockers you used..? what diameter pushrods can you get in there..? And im assuming youre using .904 lifters, do they need an offset like the rockers..? Thanks.

I apologize I don't remember the stand part number, but I do cover the rocker arm part numbers, pushrods and lifters in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jS5rF5rXN60.html The pushrods are 3/8" with a slight taper on the intake side to clear the offset lifters, which are Black Mamba solid bushing offset lifters. HAHA! You know, i didnt even see that link there. Answered my questions perfectly. Im in line for a set myself from eric, carl hinkson is doing the shortblock.. I couldve just asked eric for the offset info but thought id ask you to see if you done anything differently.. carl is supplying .904 BAM lifters for mine.. Thanks for the reply aye

If you changed the amount of shims that would also change the length of pushrod needed
