that pissed me off so much 😭 clearly she isnt getting paid much if she has to work FOUR JOBS. they dont realize that some people have to take what they're able to get with employment, plus both of them having no experience (no work visa/ "i dont work here") and them ganging up on her 😭
I mean, it's not like she's actually working 4 jobs lol. She mentioned contracting, so it sounds like she has 1 job where she works on 4 different projects when she's needed. I didn't like her story or the international girl's story or the frat guy's story. International girl should apply for that work visa if she needs some money that bad. For her to tell the other girl to just get paid more was pretty funny though considering she won't even begin the process for getting a work visa.
she said she relies mostly on her brother. I don't think she deserved the money but 4 jobs girl def didn't need it either. "I'm gonna save it for a house" why would anyone be like yeah you take it lol
@@robz4940 …no, it wasn’t lol say you didn’t get it without saying you didn’t get it 💀 she meant if you have a more CONSISTENT job or two, you wouldn’t need four or five side hustles. like be for real…
Didn't she say she works a job that involves providing others with Medicare? but that company doesn't give her benefits? How dare they lol. We help others with Medicare benefits and you help them with that but we don't give our employees benefits
People don't seem to realize that here in America, free medical care is available for those who don't have any jobs, have low income, or don't have health insurance in general. In fact, it's illegal to not have Healthcare. That's why medicaid exists. Medicaid offers FREE medical care, dental care, and vision care. Additionally, each state also has their own healthcare marketplace that allows people to buy plans at a specific rate from insurance carriers available in their state. It sucks that more people don't know about this. At the same time, it's annoying how people assume that America is a cruel nation that doesn't provide health coverage to its citizens. Help is readily available.
international students can work for 20 hours a week. Being an international student, i can tell that she is super spoiled and out of touch of reality, extremely spoiled and absolutely would have used all the money for herself.
The second girl was insufferable. She’s here from another country and is living off her brother. Her parents don’t work and neither does she. They then have the nerve to criticize the girl working multiple job. Gtfo
frl.. she was making it seem like getting a job is so easy and getting paid higher is so easy, but then she’s over here with no job and living off her brother who’s being burdened by her?
@@srose1088yeah i felt that way too, the middle girl wouldn’t even look at the girl on the right until she asked the question “couldn’t you just move closer” as if everyone can just pick up and move
I’m so obsessed with the frat guy promising $200 to diabetes research because he had a friend who got his finger pricked at recess and he didn’t know why. That’s so fucking funny. Is that… the only time you’ve known anyone with a medical condition?
I don’t get your comment. He’s basically saying his first interaction with someone with medical issues was as a child and it’s clearly stuck with him for a while.
@@joanne0 Sure but it’s kind of insane to me that you can grow to be an adult and that’s the one thing that sticks with you. Like does he know about cancer? Have none of his loved ones died? I had diabetic friends as a kid too, but it seems like his friend was fine lol
@@viralgayguy idk i think its pretty obvious what he's getting at. it was basically his first insight into what life is like for ppl who arent perfectly healthy, which can be very influential to a child who doesnt know any better. its not about the extremeness of the condition, its about being made aware of something for the first time and so it being easiest to recall i mean personally i have never met anyone with diabetes but i knew someone in a wheelchair when i was 7 and that has stuck with me forever since it was the first time i realised not everyones lives were as easy as mine.
@@viralgayguyin primary school I also had a friend with diabetes, it was terrifying. Right before he told us he was away from school for like 3 weeks which is about an eternity when you’re that little, and after he was diagnosed he was absent a lot and got sick often. Sure, he’s fine and relatively healthy but that doesn’t mean it didn’t leave a mark. And no not everybody has dead or sick relatives lol, for me it’s only my grandma and she died before I was born.
@@jenniesmiffy well, duh. I think it just goes without saying, don’t live outside your means unless you’re able to make up for it in a reasonable amount of time. Sometimes ya gotta sacrifice time for space and vice versa
Exactly, seems to me like he’s living in dorms and hasn’t learned how fcking hard it is to get a place close to your job. It’s a nightmare. Also she fully didn’t say she didn’t have a car, she said her car was in the shop. Like this guy 👀 ugh
Fun fact: international students can work through their school WITHOUT A WORK VISA. There are countless on-campus jobs she could get. But something tells me she hasn’t even looked 🤷🏼♀️
I think it's funny that contestant number 2 didn't say she would use the $1k to get herself a work visa. (Not that I know how much a work visa costs, but wouldn't getting one be a better investment than giving it to her family then them still having to support her?)
she could pay for the work visa with the $1000 and still have some left over, and it would take over 2 months most likely to process. The paperwork and everything would most definitely be ANNOYING, but it would be a better investment in the long run if she TRULY does not want to be a "financial burden" -- especially considering she's pinning herself against the other two girls who work and support themselves
Exactly! I was so confused! That would've helped her case so much! It would've proved that she's willing to work for the money and would put it to great use. She might've won but he saying that she didn't even apply? It hurt her, for sure.
she can’t afford a work visa & it’s a difficult process lol i agree yea she could def work under the table but let’s not forget that a work visa IS expensive and the $1000 could’ve helped her towards getting it
@@rissa7870 exactly she could’ve said she would put the money towards the visa that but never did… and then tells the other girl to just move as if that also isn’t hard and costly.
@@rissa7870you don’t always have to pay for a work visa though, most jobs will provide it for you and then your visa is sponsored through your employer
I’m the fraternity president, didn’t need the money like he said, had no idea we were going to be competing, producer just needed an extra guy. It’s chill tho, been watching Cody shit on people for my whole life, I’m honored that it could be me finally
16:09 says the girl who doesn't work OMGGGGG I cant stand her . First she wanted to help her parents now it's her brother . She wants the money for her self but doesn't want to say that bc obviously she be voted off .
yeah I didn't really agree with that but she doesn't work because she is an international student. Literally risking your study permit for money IS NOT worth the money. Granted its not easy to get a job.
@@SS-vq9ou It is easy to get a job, it is not easy for people to get the job they want, because they want jobs to accomodate for them. But if anyone wants work, they can find it.
@@srose1088 and would be paying out of state tuition instead of saving money by staying in state. also the girl who said she pays all her own bills herself without help, but then said she had been under her parent's healthcare. She's probably still under their phone plan and car insurance at that rate. (Like I absolutely am supported by my parents in those ways, which is why i would never claim that I'm not extremely privileged or not financially dependent)
the girl who cant work here. if you cant work here then obviously you cant be living here without support, she knew coming here the situation she would be in lol sounds like the family did to so it makes sense ig why she asking for money. nobody in her life can afford her and what shes doing lmao spoiled
@@mo_shea I don’t think you should assume a person’s situation tbh and she literally stated both her parents don’t work so it wouldn’t make sense saying they couldn’t afford her and shes spoilt 🙃 this video has no lie detector so you cant tell whats behind the scenes for all of them or whether the stories are straight.
I giggled when she said she didn’t apply because it takes too long 💀 girl the time is gonna pass either way? Just say you don’t wanna work and move along
@@julia-ex7imyup, especially in Arizona. Lol walk into basically any restaurant and there’s at least one working under the table. I did it at 16 not even needing to I just happened upon a serving job that was set up like that
She basically said she didn't even want to TRY because it took too long but still made it seem like SHE was the one having a hard time while being provided for by someone else
@@stephsmanicshenanigans8017 the only counterpoint to this is that, if she had an under the table job it would really put her at risk to admit that she's working illegally under the wrong kind of visa in a public setting just to snag a thousand dollars. she could be detained and not be able to finish school or re-enter the country at all. most work visas in the usa require specialty industry qualifications and you need to find a job to sponsor you before you can even apply too, so its also just not an easy process to begin. idk if she is or not obviously, but at the end of the day its a game show and shes a student that shouldnt be expected to break immigration law and destroy her life for a cheap knockoff jubilee video lol
People are clowning on this but it makes a little bit of sense. Not saying it’s for sure true but maybe having one singular full time job that pays consistently every 2 weeks and maybe something on the side makes more sense than her random contracting work. It’s hardly 4 real jobs if 2-3 of them are contracts that she may not even be doing each week.
yes literally 100%. her choosing inconsistent contract work over a consistent salary job j proves she's lazy and no work ethic and her 'hustle' yap was bs. she was so annoying oh my GOf @@anthonycolangelo2866
Yes. Exactly. She's just lazy but wants to act like she works harder than she does. What is her obsession with the hustle. Like jesus@@anthonycolangelo2866
@@anthonycolangelo2866 No, it really doesn't make sense. It's not that easy to just "get a better paying job." If a better paying job was available, why the frick would people be working the lower paying jobs? That's why it's stupid to say that. lmao
@@FelonDog you can get a full time job pretty easy with no experience, all depends on what it is. Not saying it’s better paying but it is consistently paying and a heck of a lot more reliable than living off her contracts that are god knows what. This isn’t that hard of a concept.
@@srose1088I mean as someone who doesn’t have to pay attention to gluten I would have just assumed rice has it so it’s really not a bad idea. The average person doesn’t track gluten I would imagine so why would the average person even care to know
@@srose1088a person with celiac can't have any gluten. Even trace amounts from cross contamination. To get certified gluten free rice would mean it's certified to have no cross contamination.
That's what I was thinking. "Why is she going to give the money to her family when she could get a work visa and get not have her family pay for everything?"
contestant 2: you are 100% allowed to work as an international student and I had 3 jobs on a student visa. the process to getting a work visa actually only starts with finding a job. she's clearly lying and using this as an excuse for exposure/extra money to shop. I can't believe what an awful person she is trying to take away money from people by lying
@@myatucker9894 on top of being too lazy to apply for the work visa, she looks even lazier for not doing some simple research before being on this video that would help her figure out there are a variety of options to work as an international student. I think the worst and most unethical lie that was told during the video though was the dude who said he was sending money for his sisters seizure condition. thats so messed up lol
Shes excusing her laziness of not wanting to work through saying "i dont have a work visa", i could guess if we combined the amount of times she used that excuse, she would have one by now.
This is heartbreaking. she actually tugged at my heartstrings because of that. I FEEL ROBBED. I actually thought the states was different in terms of working while studying. Canada has it where we can work 20 hours a week. but hey, fees per term are around 25k at the least so unless a person has photo memory and can absorb things like a sponge and no fear over the IRCC, SKY IS THE LIMIT!
not gonna assume anything about the 2nd girl, but if she’s going to asu, they have so many programs for international students to work that don’t require you to have a work visa…like the money is ass, but at least it’s something
yeah like as an international student you’re capped at working 20hrs a week on campus BUT there is a way to get permission to get around that in case of financial hardship …
Yea I feel like she was making the most excuses bc there’s tons you can do without having a work visa. Bf parents are immigrants and they’ve made it work for the past 20 years
im super impressed cody didnt clown on the host more like the dude seemed so uncomfortable and lost the whole time 😭😭 and why was he behind a curtain 😭😭😭
@@Fit.fish02 bro why did you think everyone was lying😭 like yes having a bit of suspicion is good but maybe just listen to their actual arguments instead of just going off of who you thought was lying the least?? u got some trust issues to sort out my friend
I don’t understand why people dismiss the multiple jobs argument. No one wants to work 4 jobs, so if they are that means those jobs are not well paying. More than likely each of those jobs is minimum or below minimum wage, meaning they need all of them to meet their financial minimums. It’s not like each of those are 20k a year plus benefits
And the guy in Green him saying he’s gonna send the money is going straight home when he literally said his mom is probably going to send some back and he’s gonna take it from his sick sister 😂
Nobody dismisses the multiple jobs argument. She literally said that she would use the money mostly to save up for a house for her mom. Which means that she does not need the money desperately if the first thing she brings up is to save it instead of spending it on missing rent or food.
@@ErenaaLamb a bunch of people in the comments are doing that. even going as far as saying that having 4 jobs is not that big of a deal or that hard because they arent full time jobs... which for the record i don't agree with. as the other person said, nobody wants to work 4 jobs especially contractor ones that don't provide a stable income but sometimes people don't really have a choice as they can't just magically get a better paying job like some people think lol
@@ErenaaLamb while I agree with you, she is being sussed out in the comments, which really annoys me personally mainly also because she was kicked off before "have you tried moving or getting paid more?"-girl
Just wanted to use this as an opportunity to throw this out there: As someone who was diagnosed with celiac as an adult, as much as I think that guy’s other answers were iffy lol, I get where he is coming from with the food thing- and I also will say I didn’t truly understand how serious this disease was or the measures it takes to stay safe when you have it until I was diagnosed (and still don’t expect my non celiac friends to truly get it). But I will say groceries for celiac folks are significantly more expensive, and if you ever want to eat out or grab food at a bar you’re at your options are super duper limited. It’s more than an intolerance or allergy, it’s autoimmune and even a trace amount through cross contamination affects your organs. It can be hard because once you’re celiac, it can be difficult because no one really understands the seriousness of it
Hi, fellow nursing student here. That doesn't sound easy to deal with, especially when others don't understand your situation sometimes. Def surround urself w people who understand your difficulties better and try to stay calm if people bug you. I can only imagine how annoying that must be but at the end of the day, that is going to be a common occurrence so just stay as calm as u can. Its ur life, not there's, so don't get urself too stressed up. Dont give a f about peoples options and try to live ur life the best u can w the best of ur capabilities.
@@idontevenknow8141did you just tell someone to not worry about something that negatively impacts their quality of life? as a person who has had to interact with nurses bc of the disease, you have no idea what celiacs go through so try and listen more than give advice. youre not telling us anything we dont already know through lived experience. celiacs have the same quality of life as someone with end stage kidney disease on dialysis, we dont need you to tell us not to worry about it, thanks. nurses can be so insufferable

The fact that #2 was unemployed but still supported means she doesn’t need the money. Idk how she wasn’t the first to go. And she didn’t apply for a work visa because “it takes too long” like what?😂
i’m sorry but girl number two studies in America but can’t work because of student visa and came here to study, i’m sorry but what are you doing there then? of course your brother isn’t going to provide for you lol. provide for yourself, either work as a babysitter lowkey or made sure you would’ve made more money at home. ‘it’s too expensive and will take too long i can’t work because i don’t have a work visa’ well yeah if you asked for it earlier you would’ve had it by now. why not use the money from your family to buy a workvisa once as an investment to work your ass of later. and then the audactity to say to the girl that works four jobs: ‘work more’ ??????!!!!? WHAT HOW ARE YOU NOT ASHAMED
To be fair the 4 jobs girl kinda exaggerated that and then later said it’s just contract work , meaning she could literally go work like a 4 hour shift once a week at a place and be like yeah this is my 4th job, as someone who has a similar situation I really only claim the 2 jobs that I’m consistently clocking 15+ hours at
h’mmm i get what you’re saying but even if she only works like 20 hours a week it’s still stupid to call someone out on ‘you should work more’ if you’re not working yourself and just staying in the mentality of ‘getting a work visa is too hard’
Girl #2 really kept playing the VISA card as if being an international student isn’t expensive enough yet she’s able to afford it, is getting covered by her family (already seting you up extremely well), while also still being to get help from the college because A LOT of colleges offer jobs and help to those who are international students….
"Working 4 jobs means you're making pretty good money." No. It doesn't. It means you're probably working 4 low paying jobs. Work visas can take up to 2 months- generally six weeks. Cost varies but typically around $450.
16:10 this absolutely sent me, but also makes me so mad to know that people with this logic actually exist. edit: also saying "I'm not sure how it works", even with adding the "here" afterwards, makes me think she doesn't really have any work experience, regardless of her location
@@martophrenia biggest ick is when people don't just use the money they inherited ??? 🙄 (not saying that's her logic; I'm referring to a couple other encounters)

The guy talking about diabetes actually moved me a bit, I've been diabetic since I'm 2 and half, so I grew up with diabetes. My classmates knew but I don't think they cared so if a guy went and talked about how I made him want to support diabetes research, I'd be crying lol. He was probably lying but I hope he was truthful
and he said his mom only pays for some of his rent. so he is sending home a small sum of minimum wage money to support his sisters healthcare needs, while paying the rest of the rent his mom doesnt cover??? All at the same time continuously recieving each month a majority of the rent money. That logic doesnt add up. It is truly wild to lie about helping your sister with her health issues and acting like he is. asavior working a part time job to send home a small amount of money. I hope future jobs see this lol
i already commented this but did you catch him shaking his head after saying he wasn't lying? his body language didn't match what he was saying, in addition to what he was saying wasn't adding up as well
I don’t think he was lying. If my parents were paying my school expenses and were also financially burdened with medical bills for my sick sister, and I suddenly got a windfall of $1000 they would be the first people I would give the money to. And if they only took part or most of it and told me to keep the rest for school (which most parents would do) then I would.
Celiac is actually pretty hard to live with food wise, food is really expensive that's safe and any contact with gluten can be harmful so you have to be very careful with what you eat
From my experience, back in 2012, I wasn't allowed to work on a student visa, not even for the student jobs at the university itself. I had to hoard money every summer, but hey, at least your alcohol was cheap, so it wasn't all bad.
That frat guy taking about Type 1 Diabetes was hilarious. I have type 1 diabetes, it’s not always awesome but I can’t imagine a kid crying everyday over checking their blood sugar… like that’s as regular to us as brushing teeth
Maybe the kid played guitar, lol. I need to start regulating my insulin, due to liver issues. I play guitar. I’m having trouble figuring this out, lol - especially, my friend who is a CNA and going to school for nursing says those skin-patch glucose monitors aren’t as accurate, as blood glucose tests. Can I prick myself anywhere, lol?
@@XOChristianaNicole I wear the omnipod, it’s super great. I believe you can prick elsewhere, it’s just not going to be as accurate as the fingers. I play the bass so I get what you’re saying. I do my thumbs so I don’t have to poke the finger tips. Good luck and happy playing!
celiacs have the same quality of life as someone with end stage kidney disease on dialysis. dating a celiac is the equivalent burden as dating someone with cancer. it grinds my gears that people downplay celiac without knowing anything about it. what other disease is it okay to laugh at someone talking about their quality of life being lower and life being more difficult bc of it??
As a person with celiac the jokes make me chuckle lol. It is pretty ridiculous. Like the human body is so amazing but if my toddler puts cookie contaminated fingers on my mouth I'm on the bathroom floor in pain for hours and hours??? How embarrassing
There’s on campus jobs for international students that don’t require additional work visas usually as it’s work study so it basically acts like a scholarship
8:07 she said that like that was just such a mic drop . and says the girl who doesn't have to work or anything . But is stressed about money and her parents pay all her bills . Like girl if you wanted to work you could easily save money for a work visa lol . Sorry idk why that offended me so hard lmao ..I just got so annoyed bc she said that like its just so easy to pick up and move lol
As someone with celiac I can verify that it’s not *just* bread. This dude-bro is dumb tho, gf bread is not $15 (not even the gf Amish homemade lol). Sure, it’s more money but it’s not that much money. I survived at my college by getting 2 jobs and was able to buy fruits, veggies, and other things. I couldn’t eat in the cafeteria like everyone else because most of, if not all, the food was contaminated. That’s not how I wanna go out, I don’t want freaking flour to take me out. Imagine that tombstone “taken out by flour.”
Four jobs is really not that crazy when some of them are contract jobs though. I had 3-4 part-time jobs at once throughout my entire MA program but some were just 6-10 hours a week, it's really not that complicated
Yeah but it’s not really the same as working 4 jobs especially since it seems like she’s not working all 4 jobs every week. I have 3 to 4 “jobs” as well but I only tell people I have 2 jobs because those are the jobs I do every week.
Yeah but people that say oh I work so incredibly hard because I work 5 jobs is dumb because exactly what you pointed out, most of those jobs are better classified as paid hobbies or side hustles. Only 24 hours in a day and 2-3 jobs can fill it up just as much as 10
tbh i dont consider contract jobs as jobs. unless there are a sceduled number of hours worked per week it makes it kind of hard to assess a persons availability based off of that.
The guy who won definitely played everyone. He was talking about how homegirl probably cant make 4 jobs work, but only works part time while his mom sends him money. Then takes that money and literally gives it away. Considering the fact that employers are incentivized to hire only part time, its plausible that someone works 4 times to compensate for the benefits of one.
i was thinking the same thinggg omg. it really rubbed me the wrong way esp when he was accusing the girl of lying for having 4 jobs. out of everyone i felt that contestant 1 was the most honest
@@RONANAWAY I hope this video prevents that guy who lied about paying for his sister seizure costs from getting jobs in the future. The fact he is able to lie about such a huge personal matter and knows it is being posted to everyone on the internet is dangerous, and even more dangerous because he is extremely stupid thinking people will believe him. If his sister and family sees this I am sure it will cause problems in their family. I can’t fathom how money hungry you have to be to lie about something like that
Why is the dude picking so stuck on “all these people are lying except one”. It feels like he doesn’t even understand the concept of the show he is on.
It is kind of infuriating that the girl who refused to even apply for a work Visa and whose parents don’t work is telling the girl with 4 jobs how to work less to make more money. I worked full time all through high school and college. Finding a job that fits around your school schedule is hard enough without trying to worry about finding a job that pays double what it currently pays 😵💫 Girl is living in a dream world and that’s how you know she doesn’t need the money.
Coeliacs is different to just “being gluten free” and i think that went right over Cody’s head in this video. you will die from eating gluten with coeliacs where you may just be a little fatter if u eat heaps and heaps of gluten (talking from first and 2nd hand experience)
