The Khaleesi brought the Dothraki Horde across the Narrow Sea, and they landed in Dorne! Can Harmen Uller muster his forces to defend his home from the tactical prowess of Jorah Mormont?
That was a brutal battle, seeing so much calvary is intimidating, plus that many weakens being thrown around by targs is hard to stop. Props for seeing it through to the end. I look forward to the next one!
Careful putting units too close to spikes. When they pivot to maneuver, they can touch it and take wounds. Rules wise, the targ cav would have taken D3+1 for their movement at 18:48.
I wasn't there during filming and the footage isn't crystal clear, but it appears that the targaryen player just missed the stakes while pivoting. I could be wrong however. Ultimately, I agree that pivoting on states is an action and you would take wounds. I'm not a fan of stakes - Jan
Wow, well played and congrats to the winner (I’m a targ player myself). Also interesting list choices. Looking forward for the next (targ) battle report Edit: I like the length and the cut of video. Well done!
@@BrokenBanners I’m still about to test them out, but QoM is fairly interesting and Drogo is great as well. I played Drogo and double dragons in GJ last time and got whooped so for me personally it would be interesting to see how to pilot such a squishy list.
I didn't like the playstyle of Marselen but he is a decent commander. The ability to out-activate with freedmen makes it sorta feel like the free folk playstyle but with a much weaker unit. But hey, always open to see how others play him!
