Dangermouse man is sooooo damn good. This guy is an amazing producer, he is so underrated. Everybody talks about their favorite producer, Ludwig being one of them and he’s good too but any time I bring up Dangermouse people are like “who?” And I just sigh and I tell them everything he’s produced and people are like “woah” and I just nod my head like “yup”
Heard this song playing in a pizza parlor and I wrote down the lyrics in my notes on my phone so I can google them later and I’m so happy I found this song I love it and the instrumental is so retro and funky ❤️❤️
You should look up Franc Moody. Song randomly came on my spotify and while my roommate a while ago love broken bells I don't remember ever hearing it, so it took me to those times and was an immediate
I never meant for this to last We turn around, a year has passed And now you've got these thoughts in your head You never heard a word I said It's that talk again When all I have to say Would fill your heart with pain So let's just walk away, oh We'll start our bout again, hoo When will it end, oh woah Another chance for me to learn Another bridge will have to burn It's not about an eye for an eye Because the normal rules, they don't apply Just tell me why When all I have to say Would fill your heart with pain So let's just walk away, oh We'll start our bout again, hoo When will it end, oh woah I see you in the crowd with your friends again I barely make you out as you spin and then realize It never really ends I might have a girl on my arm again Then you'll want to weave and pretend we never met But don't do it, don't do it It's that talk again When all I have to say Would fill your heart with pain So let's just walk away, oh We'll start our bout again, hoo When will it end, oh woah
I saw them live at The Civic Theater in New Orleans in 2014. Easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The venue was small, so getting to the front of the stage was no problem. I really hope James Mercer and Danger Mouse get together for at least ONE more Broken Bells album.
+Fly Their album was released last year, this is a single from an upcoming EP that will probably contain 3-4 songs, similar to what they did with Meyrin Fields.
i thought this music was highly popular (didn't know the stream number because i usually listen to this on sportify) and i search this on RU-vid and i realized this music is really underrated. this music really need more love
+Sailors Myth Well I think its more a case of common roots, this sound wasn't exactly created by Tame Impala, its very reminiscent of old psychedelic rock which both bands list as one of their influences.
+MoonfeatherWildkin absolutely. I see this a lot places too, Cults - I Can Hardly Make You Mine etc. its understandable given Tame's rise I suppose. Probably the biggest band (outside of generic stadium pop) to emerge this decade. Definitely setting the standard for baselines too imo.
thank god they started up again though because I thought they were just going to disappear off the earth :'^) I want to see them in concert at least once. Definitely my favorite band
+Amanda Rogers I saw them live 2 years ago and it was literally the best concert I have been to visually and musically. They really know how to put on a good performance!
