@@glockteau______twins , a fault is a discontinuity in a volume of earth where there has been displacement as a result of rock-mass movement, aka, a big crack in the ground where earthquakes commonly originate.
32:20 - 34:30 is all about his growth from cherry bomb even though he doesn’t say it. Tyler loves cherry bomb, but when it first came out people fucking hated it, saying it was horribly mixed and too distorted. He really thought he fucked up so flower boy was the safe route to bring him back from that career fall. Flower boy brought him a lot of artistic growth, but it sacrificed the distorted out of perfect line sounds that he really loves as an artist. That whole analogy of going from LA to NY back to LA learning how to wear a jacket is his way of saying flower boy taught him how to express his messy taste in a more refined way. Cherry bomb was just way too much cinnamon on the pasta
@@orest.bushtyriak I don’t know what the kill host reference is, and I don’t know if this was added to the next gen version or was always in the original GTA V but currently whenever garbage comes on there’s a snippet of him saying “Hi, I’m Tyler, this is my song, and it starts right n-“ before going into “HELLO” in garbage. This is all on FlyLo FM. Great station. Hannibal Buress also makes an appearance. And tons of awesome brainfeeder music/FlyLo’s friends and collaborators are on there I know he voiced an NPC too

Burj Khalifa He’s literally had over hour long videos dedicated to him talking about his albums, if you’re lazy ass decided to use the *fucking search bar* you’d find them.
Honestly tyler should actually make a movie or a soundtrack, he has endless talent and just has the best sounding and looking music and videos. All of this and he even has his own clothing line like omg
he already did for the grinch, and it was fuckin dope he even got an ep out of it cause he was so inspired, I really hope he gets more offers for movies and shit since he's been doing so great with hbo and doing stuff for other artists he's living his best professional life lmao
I honestly can’t wait for his future. His discography will easily be one of the best of our time. And when he produces for others and gets more into the entertainment, man it’ll be amazing.
I love how when Tyler says “if you see me in the streets tell me your favourite parts” Rick Rubin then proceeds to do it after they listen to a song Wholesome
Running out of time is my favorite songs ever. I never thought a song made in 2019 could make me feel something with just an instrumental. The lyrics just push you over the edge
Loved this interview, it’s so interesting to hear what sticks out to Tyler in his pieces versus what sticks out to me, and they touch on that shit too with Rubin listening to groove
Went to my first concert ever in SF last night to see Tyler perform and this album is even better live, energy is somehow tripled from the recording compared live. Catch y’all a show sometime man it’s a must.
Bro i feel u big time. I went to his concert in ny and holy shit he brought out flaco and i was going crazy. It makes it even better listening to this because u get to understand it and just fucking love the shit out of this album. Like it was meant to be. And all the little bits just make the songs amazing.
As someone who's been listening since Bastard, and also someone who's starting to get into making his own music, listening to my favourite artist talk about the aspects of his music that he's most passionate about and getting an insight into his creative process and overall creativity is insane. Great conversation.
Any Winehouse- wake up alone is so sad. But beautiful, so dreamy . Tyler is my musical twin. The way he explains music I feel like that’s the way I listen to music.
I love that Tyler loves this album as much as we do. Some artist put out music and naturally like it but this is difference because he did it all so he appreciates it much more and I love that all his favorite parts are mines as well
@@Julian-uk6mj yeah it was pretty hard to see someone you looked up to fall from grace so fast. went from one of his biggest fans to having trouble hearing his voice in songs.
Will there be a 2nd part of this? I was really hoping to hear about Gone Gone/Thank You & I Don't Love You Anymore. Those 2 songs really helped get over a break up this year!
These were FUNDAMENTAL to me getting over a recent breakup. Cant tell you how many times I played these two songs. I dont love you anymore really hits. Especially the end part. " ANd this might just be better for us you know" and then it cuts. It really gives the impact of how it actually feels when you hear this as the relationship comes to an end. Just, genius.
Specifically because he put so many aspects, the Grammys don’t know what to do. They won’t give him aoty, the album wasn’t popular enough, which is stupid, but so is the grammys
He didn't change clothes for the whole Atlanta show and I loved it!! Experiencing IGOR perform Yonkers, See you again, Who Dat Boy, etc. was amazing. Also, listening to this conversation sounds just like me when I'm describing IGOR to someone. Especially when they were discussing I THINK and RUNNING OUT OF TIME. I have so much to discuss with Tyler about this Album...
That's so true that different people pick up different parts of the music. I often pick up lyrics first. Then the sound of the song. Sometimes I'll get caught on the sound/melody first- then lyrics. I met someone who NEVER listened to lyrics- it was funny to hear some of the songs they would listen to, and I'd hear the lyrics and be like "Do you even know what this song is saying?"- because often times the song was NOT the kind of lyrics this person would even align with, yet they loved the song. It's funny sometimes how that works for people.
Haha I’m a musician/producer and it might take me months before I catch the lyrics on a song I really like. I listen to the beat and the vocal melody, and can even sing along without consciously thinking about what the lyrics actually are. It’s just not as important to me as the sound of the song as a whole
having someone else to acknowledge those chords and intricacies within must be soooo satisfying like that shit makes my stomach warm everytime literally chills in my ears and forehead thanks lol also the vocal harmonies in the back of the chorus are same feeling differently expressed
i relate to tyler so much when it comes to listening to music. i always pay attention to how the sound of the lyrics fits in with the sound of the beat before paying attention to what the lyrics are saying
As much as I love his pitched up vocals, I think he writes off his normal pitch too soon. I think as he continues making music he'll develop a style that fits it. Bass is a really underrated vocal range.
In Flower Boy: A Conversation he goes more into detail about the fact he hates his voice, and pitch shifts it to make it more interesting and pretty sounding for himself, though I do really agree that his voice is gorgeous and hope he starts enjoying it more
you are a constant reminder that creativity has no moths fuckin limits, much love ty for everything you've given. I'm really gonna miss CFG this year :'( blessings yo
His best RAP album gotta be Wolf thats why his fanbase holds it in such high standing that was like peak Rap tyler imo and tye whole rollout and story was just so badass
I listen to IGOR everyday. This is the best Album of my Year. This album has everything I grew up with R&B , Soul( them snaps is mowtown) and Rap. Sometimes my Girl be arguing with me and all I hear is New Magic Wand in my head. I ain't mad then. Play Forever!
12:50 Like that distorted TOM roll on New Magic Wand after he says "my brother says I'm on the spectrum". That's one of my favorite moments in music ever...
