So agree. Heating cannot be funded by taxpayer in parliament. In fact lets extend that to all government drpartments and also Work From Home civil servants. Also Unions whose buildings must also forego their heating allowance.

@@jasonhas7456 On 10 million pensioners? £400 wpa x 10,000,000 =£4 Billion. Starmer: " I'll just takea look down the back of the sofa".. Newflash: Britain’s national debt is on track to almost triple over the next 50 years, the UK’s fiscal watchdog has warned.
"They're saying they stand behind the poorest in society, which in fairness, is exactly what they would have done at the Somme." Laughed way harder than I should have at this 😂😂
Rachel Theeves the granny killer happy to pay out 11bn to overseas green energy initiatives but draws the line at pensioners heating their homes in winter.
@@PeterVaughan-ve5cz Exactly, while MPs are claiming thousands in heating expenses they deny pensioners earning anything over about 11K help with fuel costs, even though Labour have waved through 10% energy price increases this winter. This is so bad I really can't understand the mentality that would think it's acceptable. It is the one of the most evil things I think I heave ever seen a government do. I don't think even Thatcher would have done something like this to pensioners.
labour will give £11.6 Billion in overseas green energy aid..some to countries that hate us...none of it will benefit the UK........the cuts to winter fuel payments will save £1.5 Billion which would have been spent in the UK economy...and reduced the number of pensioners in hospital which costs the NHS many millions...economically fucking illiterate poseurs....however don't think the scumservatives would have been any better...they are why we are where we are
This was my comment: *THEY DESERVE IT* Pensioners gave us 14 years of Tory austerity AND Brexit...!!! Do them a deal - they can have £1000 a year winter fuel payment but they can no longer vote - DEAL...???
@@EpicAelflaedPeanuts in the overall scheme, maybe 1/2bn a year. This is Daily Mail, dog whistle territory. And what better recruitment appraisal process than making people navigate half way round the world and risk their life crossing the channel? Shows real commitment and physical talent.
@Tailspin80 wouldnt be so bad if we weren't fed the BS of fleeing war zones when it's 90% men, who flees a war and leave women and children behind? It's all bollocks. And it's not as if we can look after our own people. If we had no homeless and homes for our own, and actual support for those who need it. Without a back log when it comes to the NHS things would be massively different. But in reality, it isn't.
You mean the Tool maker he harps on about, he`s even said he wouldn`t spend any of his substantial fortune to save their lives with private medical care. So he`ll be happy for them to go without heating!
I’ve never seen these two before… as a greedy old pensioner living off the fat of my state pension, and a tiny occupational pension, I have immediately subscribed to the channel. Thank you guys! ❤
I am so well off Mr Starmer. I go to charity shops for clothes, nothing wrong with that I am helping a charity, whereas you get your designer suits paid for by people you give a pass to enter number 10 as and when, not forgetting your designer glasses, mine are 8 years old and cost £35.00. I go out for the day, I walk to Aldi or take a bus ride to see my son, oh such lavish days! Of course, I hear rumours the bus passes are next so I won't be seeing my son as much. I cut my own hair to save money there, and very rare buy a lipstick let alone false eye lashes or nail polish. I have to buy gluten free food which is more expensive than the normal food stuff, so I don't buy cakes or biscuits etc, I make do. Oh, again such a lavish lifestyle! I will be cold this winter because you have taken away my fuel allowance, however the tax payers will pay for your houses to be heated so you will not go cold nor the other labour MP's on huge amounts of salary. Still, I have loads of money rolling out of my ears Mr Starmer, such a lavish lifestyle. I have not been on holiday for over 20 years just cannot afford it because I help my son out with my darling grandsons who I want to grow up to be good and decent men. A bit long this sorry folks but I could not resist sending this to our wonderful leader who is making us all so better off!😠 I voted Reform UK and if at the end of the winter I am still alive, I will vote for them again!
What a ramble, my friend gets her gluten free food on precriptions so you could improve your lot that way. You didn't mention 14 yrs of Tories making us all poorer or the elephant in the room Brexit so you are very misguided to vote Reform. You do know their leader is of course a millionaire, and we all pay his EU pension, and he told us all lies about Brexit.
I'm absolutely outraged by this decision!! The winter fuel payment of £300 in the new plastic fivers used to take at least 9 minutes to burn on the fire and filled the room with the cosy smell of cloronoxyethohydroflosticicic which made me dream I was a badger. Now I'll have to go to the warm space in the library and sniff the toner in the printer.
That brought back memories of the early 60s when I was a librarian at Chelsea public library. Every winter our news reading room was full of homeless and poor, who could come in for warmth during opening hours. They each had their regular seats. I wondered where they went at night. Now I wonder where they go now that the building has become a prep school.
When the younger generation see things like this it's no wonder they are reluctant to work. Better to arrive here in a dinghy illegally and you qualify for all the benefits the country has to offer. If pensioners are considered to have the broadest shoulders I look forward to learning what the MP 's are going to contribute to the black hole. Absolutely bugger all!
@@EpicAelflaed I know what you mean. The older pensioners save for rainy days while some younger ones spend and spend on credit cards, debts to be paid later on. Right? There are a lot of poor pensioners too struggling. They could do with some help from the government, like the Tory helped in the past very difficult 2 or 3 years. Thank god for that.
@@thomasreilly6362 Maybe they live in a large house they now cannot afford to heat. You don’t know a single millionaire pensioner , do you. Certainly not your parents, now or in the future.
I'm surprised that "The Sauges" dared to ignore their own people... there must be someone supreme behind them. If so, what needs to be done... why don't you know? no one knows???
You voted Labour? Will people never learn? 🙄 Anyone who voted for Starmer’s commie lot deserves everything they get. It’s we people who didn’t vote for the dictator who deserve the help!
My only consolation is that voted for neither L or C . My MP Maria Eagle was going to win as she has done for years I could not bring myself to vote for either of those parties. I believe she abstained which shows her to be a coward!
We are not greedy pensioners. We worked all our lives to save for our retirement AND PAID TAX WHILST EARNING this money. We went without so we could have a good retirement.
We need to deal with greedy MPs who are grabbing large amount of taxpayers money for heating allowances which they don’t need on exuberantly large salaries.
Brilliant reporting those greedy pensioners how much more do they whant £11 500. Thats plentiful .luxury houses designer clothes jewelry holidays.wirg money left over.what are they complaining about.tut
I have a neighbour who is 88 years of age, disabled, worked all his life, and served his country in Africa and the middle East , paid his taxes, and national insurance. He is slightly over the amount of money, so he is illegible for Pension Credit, He will not receive his winter fuel allowance this year. This is one of Stanmar s Greedy Pensioners. Remember when Harold Wilson called the people of Northern Ireland Spongers, He lived to regret it. STANMARE WILL LIVE TO REGRET THIS DECISION. Us pensioners all over Britain have voting rights, We can take control from him. He thinks he can control the media by putting people in prison, for writing tweets. THINK AGAIN STANMAR AND THE LABOUR PARTY, We The British people wont stand for it, ypu fooled us with reteroic during the election, you wont fool us again. winifred Thompson. Northern Ireland.
The "here today, gone tomorrow" uni party MPs are careerists who will progress onto another career once out of Parliament, after serving the interests of their political sponsors.
@@PatSmith-d5w ALl he gets his attendance allowance. He has to use a Motorola even through his house, as his knee and hip are gone. Winifred Thompson. Northern Ireland.
@@winifredthompson465 I am sure he will get his winter fuel allowance, as pensioners on any benefit are eligible, urge him to find out. Good luck to him.
You can’t believe how heartless these politicians are are both parties there in a.different world than most they would not like it if it was them hungry and cold
About time Starmer rounded on these greedy pensioners who're just over the Pension Credit threshold, they've had it far too good for too long, and who wants to stay warm in winter anyway? And when they're sorted, he should go after that other entitled group, British people living below the poverty line, what a dreadfully demanding lot. Then perhaps rough sleepers, exactly who do they think they are? And once The Glorious Leader has done that, and if he can be arsed, he could possibly have a word with one or two US multinationals, and ask if they wouldn't mind paying a tiny bit of tax from time to time, if that's OK with them.
If you wondering where Larry and Paul were the past few weeks, rumor is that they have a lovely vacation/holiday depending where you watching this of course.
Apparently I am a problem greedy pensioner living off a state pension bought and paid for after 45 years of never being unemployed or claiming any benefits at all.
