Look, the logic is good, we all know that the day-to-day cost of living is the no.1 problem for UK people today: If we push-off pensioners through over taxing them\ under subsidising, well that solves their day-to-day problem for good (jobs a good un). Now Amazon's problem are huge, massive, gargantuan even- where to keep all that money they are not paying taxes on.
