Ciaaaaao Gianni, Mr. Brompton! Nice to see more awesome videos! I’m unable to find your extended California video. The one where you start out on the plane. Am I loosing my faculties? Maybe you’ve taken it down. I hope all is well. Your videos always inspirational. :)
Thanks James! If I remember that was the video that was struck with copyright claims due to music I had used... That is why I have republished some videos with some changes….
@@BromptonTraveler Ah, I’ll just watch them all again then! I Shazammed a lot of those tunes and added them to my library, so I think slamming videos for copyright is a bit counter productive.
Hello, I congratulate you on this beautiful video like all the others, provided you publish a report, I will be there because I enjoy them and they invite me to escape, relax and become aware of how beautiful our planet is, greetings and until the next video 😊👍☘️
Gianni, I've ridden the hill by the Golden Gate bridge on my road bike. Can the Brompton peddle up that hill? That was a quick skip from San Francisco to Los Angeles - lol.
What model of Brompton you have and is it the same bike for all tours you did ? How many miles you have done total on one bike ? Beautiful videos . Thank you .
Standard M type Model with 6 Sturmey Archer reduced gears. I have just replaced the old bike so all the trips you see there were done with the same bike I bought in 2013. Thanks!
What type of gearing did you use? I live in Central Califronia and I know it can be very hilly. For example, riding through Big Sur has a few long steep climbs.. Gearing is the onlt thing keeping me from buying a Brompton... Thanks for the video..
Thanks George. You are limited to six gears if you stick to the Brompton setups. I believe there are alternative options to get more. Personally I find those 6 gears ( the -12% reduced version ) are enough 95% of the times. I have toured quite a bit in California and Colorado too and went to 5300 metres in the Himalayas with that set up. Of course to do that it means that sometime if the road is too steep I might have to push the bike and walk but I don't mind that at all. I enjoy a chance to change position and have a break from pedalling. Big Sur and Leggett were not places I remember pushing it ;) Thanks
