The kid just want's to play video games at home and he should be doing that, especially after that heart incident. I feel sorry for him. His self-obsessed and egotistical father created all of this.
I really want to root for him to be better. But seeing this kind of performance is kinda disheartening. Bronny ain't gonna leave North Korea with this kind of horrible performance. And to add insult to the injury, this is just the summer league. What would be his performance against the players in the regular season? And if he sent to the G League, it would be also going to be rough for him. As those players in the G League were really trying their hardest to have a spot on a roster.
@@lameloball3596 ...so you sayin he's good or no? I'm not gonna judge too early either...however...this looks really bad. I've never seen him play at NBA potential level. Not in high school...not in college....ever
2nd overall pick Alex Sarr's statline today: 0 points, 0/15 from the field, 0/7 from 3, 0/2 from the line. But all you will hear is about how awful the 55th overall pick is 😂😂
What could have made him look like this super great dad if turned into a great hooper now makes him look like a awful dad thats forced his son way over his head because he couldnt let it go. He wanted his son in the NBA regardless of if he was good enough and they suffering greatly for it
@@jameswinslow8540 On one hand, Bronny prob will never need a dime again but LeBron also super turbo penny pincher despite being a billionaire so he prob made Bronny "earn" it.
@@neilmackinnon2425 Exactly. But this is clearly not his passion, gaming is. A good father can see where his child can excel in, and push them in that area, not this BS!
I don't know if it's that bad, but hindsight 20/20, had he did 4 years at USC and got a little better each year do I still think he would be a 2nd rounder? probably. Do I think he might have been one of the better 2nd rounders, I believe that. But I get it, daddy cant wait until is 65 lol.
@@yrena8901 Hahaha Funny.. but I bet that’s true. I love baseball growing up, and I played basketball for fun. I had friends who got scholarships to play basketball, so I looked very similar to Bronny. I really didn’t have a clue about the intricate details of the game.
You can just tell from Bronny's body language if you played a remotely high level of any sports that he is 100% scared to fucking death out there and has zero confidence in himself that he belongs because he knows he doesn't. That's why he is always hiding in the corner offensively etc. I truly don't think he even wants to do this as much as Lebron does.
Completely agree. I swear his movements are similar to how I was freshman year getting in games on JV! Scared but athletic. Basketball wasn't my passion but played to stay in shape for baseball during the winter. All the other kids actually played and practiced getting better at basketball. That is what this looks like.
He's scared and seems clueless because he genuinely probably doesn't know what to do in lots of situations and hasn't been coached by good coaches that give him good instructions like in this video. He doesn't know what to do if his 3 isn't falling and impact game in other ways. There's no way he just doesn't want to play well, it's coz he doesn't know what to do
@@raymondqiu8202 his dad has a wealth of knowledge and experience he would be sharing its not that nobody isnt showing him plays the plays he is missing are so basic abc style if he cant make these moves on the fly whats he even doing in the leauge many better options on the table
Idk about middle schoolers but def high school players besides that point there are prob thousands of dudes in the g league or in the summer league or dudes that simply didn’t get drafted that make better reads or are just flat out better.
I think for me the most unexpected and saddest thing is that Bronny seems to literally lack talent for the game. It's like he doesn't know what he's supposed to do
lacking talent and game intelligence are two different things. he’s talented, athletic. Just not smart on the court at all, making all the wrong decisions, overthinking, and clanking everything rn. Being under the most pressure a second round pick has ever been adds to it as well.
@@youin24yearswouldn’t matter. The boy just can’t play. This isn’t kindergarten for basketball and no one has the time to hold his hand to keep putting the crayon in it.
excactly why he plays like this. bc he doesn’t care as much as us fans do. im not questioning his skills but his effort is the problem. going hard a couple possessions on defense isnt effort. effort is knowing what to do, understanding the game and improving your mistakes
@@zzz.tyrone I am 100% questioning his skills. Dude is 0-15 from three and shot 27% last year in college. He also doesn't seem to have court awareness since he's always stepping out of bounds in the corner. He just doesn't seem to be a very good player
@@zzz.tyrone This is honestly a very odd take...he has no skills - which is the only reason he needs to hustle...and that definition of effort, sounded cute and all but is just 3 separate unrelated characteristics of winning which could all be classified as skills.
It's honestly sickening how this kid has been handed everything to him in life because of who his daddy is. Highest paid college athlete and an 8 million dollar NBA contract? This kid is a G league player at best and i've been saying this shit all along even before he was drafted.
@@toweypatno he isn’t 😂😂😂 every time he tries to trade for players they never fit. He can’t even read books right side up. If “Smart” is relying on other players to carry you over the hurdle to wins sure. His most successful stint was when pat riley ran the show because he actually understands good basketball look at there run post bron. Bron got a big ego after the 2 rings and thought he could do it alone and handicapped Cavs for years only to win 1 ring. He’s done the same with lakers….
The thing is this stuff can be easily fixed and he can improve very quickly just by watching this video or spending time with Awful Coaching. I think it's coz he's been coached by bad coaches a lot and not by good coaches that give good instructions
I have never commented on basketball before, but my God what is this? I’ve never seen a NBA player with worse drive, shot, ambition, or ball handling ability than Bronny.
Yeah. I’d understand if it was just that the kid just wasn’t good enough, but this kid has been pampered by the most elite basketball training available for 19 years and he still doesn’t understand any of it.
And I think that's coz he hasn't spent much time with good coaches that give him good instructions. He needs to watch more Awful coaching videos. This stuff can be easily fixed and isn't to do with skill
Maybe the 16th time is the charm. 🤣 I know you have to be confidence, but maybe he should practice a lot more before shooting anymore 3. Also attacking the rim would at least make him look a bit better.
@@sirvilhelmofyonderland your act like bronny is benefiting heavily from this I mean he did have a heart problem before his college season even started.
He just look lost out there, lebron trippin. Them boys is killers on that court, bronny been babied his whole life, its dudes in that summer league that might never get another chance again, they lookin for blood, they want there chance to shine,
Bronny is spacing spacing spacing thats seems to be all he knows about Basketball which is insane considering hes spent his whole life watching his dad and listening to him. He just spaces and takes himself out of plays and thats why he never cuts and why hes stepping out of bounds..
@@MrVaDeluxjust like lebron when he was younger, he didn’t have anything and had to make it on his own. Now that they’re rich beyond their means bronny didn’t have to grow up in survival mode like lebron so he doesn’t have that cutthroat attitude and drive to get better because he doesn’t need to
The shots aren't even close either. It's not unfortunate bounces, it's too short, too far, airballs. He's firing them up like he's Klay without any of the pedigree.
Im tired of the media portraying bronny as some high IQ player. If you watch his full games all he does is just sit at the 3pt line when he hasnt made a 3 all summer…
@@Neverseenitcoming He got a guaranteed 4yr 8mil contract for the lakers and is playing bad in summer league, that is the literal point. The NBA is going to be even harder. You can’t even let him cook because he averaged 4/2/2 in 19min at USC, so not like this is a slump for him or anything. He didn’t earn any of this and there are other players who went undrafted or are currently unsigned still that are playing better than him. AND his doctors already cleared him for professional play, so you can’t pull that heart condition bs.
@@imthrillz5255Dude the summer league is different entirely than the actual game. Alex Starr is struggling rn but if you take anything away from that other than players doing what's uncomfortable to see if they can develop a skill or not; then you're quite frankly looking at it all wrong. Bronny may me bad but the summer league is just a hype train. Let's take this out of Bronny terms if a guy struggles in the summer league it is never the end of the world. If fans are mad overreacting about a pick than he or she can kick rocks because there are time where some shots just don't fall. Look at how many summer league sucess stories they were but are besides the famous premier role guys and maybe Cam Thomas if takes things need seriously are they on any teams. I shouldn't be this pissed but I really am because fans are letting the point Mario jump over their head. The summer league are only for lower drafted individuals who don't have contract or roster spot on a g league or sometimes the actual team and need one , and a higher pick is there to either learn and inact certain plays, gain rapport with teammates or get better at their weaknesses in bigger, niche, or even at times smaller roles. James Jr is not performing well at all yes, but people as a whole and in general are missing the point.
Yeah, and his daddy can't teach him because his game is the same. LeBron is terribly lazy on defense and in transition, and never developed a go to move, just bullies people for room and looks at the ref after every shot.

His best line in Bronny's previous game was: GET BACK, GET BACK 55TH PICK! (As Bronny proceeds to allow a layup to a guy he let get behind him and then had to play catch-up)
He doesn’t want the ball down low because he’s 6 feet tall. But he can’t shoot outside either. If he played like this in high school tryouts, he wouldn’t make the team.
LeBron tanked his kid's chance at playing professionally just to prop up his own legacy. And people wonder why LeBron is incredibly disliked by a lot of people.
Odd take. One would have to assume this is about fulfilling a dream for Bronny. Kid almost lost his life last year. So what LeBron pulled some strings for his son, he’s contributed his life to basketball and whether you or anyone else likes him or not he’s never been in trouble. He’s represented basketball in a positive way his entire career. To aim this as LeBron being selfish is beyond my level of comprehension.
@Dh-is5ro You realize that the kid is taking up a roster spot. That roster spot could be used by someone who has worked hard their whole life to make it in the nba. Who has actual upside, who is deserving of that spot due to their own merit. Having daddy gift you a spot on an nba team is such a slap in the face to all the kids grinding in the gym 10 hours a day and eating ham sandwiches.

Bronny plays as if he has never had coaching. He neither knows what he should do, nor when it should be done. He just does not know where he should be, and it results in bad offense, and him getting cooked on defense.
Idk, JJ could have great potential to be a suitable replacement to Darvin. This Lakers team currently looks like another play-in contender at best which means we will have plenty of vein pops from AC.
