Improving his scoring needs to be Bronny main focus from here on out. He’s already a smart player, team player, can defend and pass and can run offense. His next development needs to be putting that ball in the basket. All of that just dribbling down the court to run the play and get out the way stuff ain’t it. They need him to be able to score
@alexanderamenta3276 See, unfortunately Bronny has to be ready for guards coming for his neck every single night because his dad is Lebron James. And the coaches have to know that. This means they have to make adjustments on the fly. I want to see him do well But it's not going to happen if it's every man for themselves. If I were Bronny I would develop a relationship with the big guys. Get some real chemistry going because teams are over playing him as if he's already a super star 🌟 Every time I drive to the Basket. They would be scared because I would be throwing hella lobs.
@@dwaynecheatom6859 if I’m Bronny I’m working on my offensive bag. He need to be able to get buckets consistently. He can do everything else. He needs more isolation work and work on getting space off the dribble. I’m not saying he need to be selfish. I’m saying when running offense isn’t working he needs to be able to break down defenses a get a bucket in different ways
@@thecalviniv The lakers will either spend a second round pick or sign him undrafted to the summer team. They are not interested in losing Lebron Sr and even gave him an extension with a player option 2024-2025.
@@Noir_Nouveau the lakers wouldn’t get him, he definitely won’t drop 2nd round or get undrafted, this is the weakest draft class that has been for awhile
he's a plus ddefender man, he's going to be able to get drafted off the strength of POA defense and IQ in the connective guard archetype. he doesn't need to average 18-20 to get to the league
@@winnumber101 This is so funny, anytime a player who people love for reasons unrelated to performance struggles with the offensive side of the ball the go-to excuse is 'well, they're great defenders' or 'they have great IQ'. Of course neither of these talents can be measured so it's very convenient. All of this completely ignores there are actually players who can really score AND have high IQ AND are plus defenders. In any event, Bronny will get a NBA roster spot no matter what, so it's a moot point.
You gave the most eloquent statement I have been trying to say for a long time. People always conveniently use nonmeasurable attributes (High IQ, Defensive intensity) for athletes when they are not producing concrete stats.
@@jmoney4220 I don’t know about that. Reminder Thanasis was drafted in the draft before Giannis was even famous or really heard of. He also made the G-league before Giannis was even drafted. Bronny will get drafted because of his dad. If Bronny wasn’t related to Lebron you’d never know who he is, especially with the way he’s been playing. Also unfortunately Bronny is just really short to play his game. Guy is 6ft2 and isn’t a lights out shooter. If you’re gunna be a 6ft2 SG in the NBA or even be great in college you better learn how to consistently hit 3’s. To finish you should go watch the Giannis documentary. If it wasn’t for Thanasis getting all the scouting attention from basketball GMs and executives, then Giannis wouldn’t even be here.
I’m ngl bro as much as I want to support Bronny and say he’s NBA ready he honestly is not giving me a good argument it’s honestly because of the name he carries that he’s viewed the way he is
@@taylorbugg11can’t keep using the heart attack he’s been doing the same shit since highschool that’s why he’s always received “hate” that non aggressive shit not gonna fly in d1
Thank you bro it's not even about the heart attack it's like yeah he had to deal with that but he is lacking that aggressive nature to want to take over a game he needs that.@@Itzmeehoe
Their are guys in his class that you can throw on NBA teams right now and would be far off better than Bronny so it's not like he can't be NBA ready and I am not hating on him I want to see him do good I am rooting for him but it's dissapointing to see his lack of aggression in terms of taking over a game yes he is a team player but you can be a team player by also being an aggressive scorer to open up the floor for your teammates@@taylorbugg11
Bronny is too short and unfortunately I feel like he’s terribly over hyped. From what I’ve seen he’s not even one of the top 3 best players on his own team.
This man started the game and didn't score a single point over 25 minutes. He went 0-7 from the field. Why he's on the team is a question many people are asking. But then they remember he's LeBron's son.@@bumbahumba
How? This dude has had everything handed to him in life, including those aforementioned accolades. He's a below average D1 player and is only there because he's LeBron James' son.@@ef692
@@Ninjersey1 , which is plain dumb on LeBron’s part. I guessLBJ want Bronny to exit the NBA the same time as him. That boy needs to develope and stayin college for 3-4 years.
He will finish 4 years of college and perhaps his career in basketball. He's not a real player but only the LeBron son. He could do 10-15 points perhaps in Division 2
The amount of hate this kid gets is ridiculous. He is a good player he is just coming back from almost dying people. You mother***** cant even run up and down the court without being winded and this kid had a full cardiac arrest and you think that does not take time to get your body back together. His offense will come and he is already a good defender and has all the intangibles. The kid knows the game it just takes some people longer and thats without the physical setback. People need to chill out and give this kid a break. He just needs to work on his jumper and his handle to break people down. He is not as big as his father so his handle will have to be legit and he needs a consistent shot which he already has a good form it just is not falling yet which it will in time. Let the kid grow into his game.
USC needs to fire their head coach at the end of the season. This game just shows that he’s a horrible coach, seeing as the team just looked unprepared and fundamentally atrocious throughout the game. I understand that they’re missing two starters, which only shows how dependent this team is on (and built around) iso-ball. Besides that, the missing starters don’t make this team any better when they’re in the lineup, especially considering USC’s past loses to teams such as Long Beach State.
Literally lost by 10 with 2 top scorers out and their 3rd “nba draft prospect” having 0 points doing absolutely nothing offensively 😭 I’d say he did his best
It’s a good thing you’re not in charge as you have no clue what you are talking about. Take the top two players off ANY team and let’s see how they do. Asinine comment.
It’s time for bronny to start showing up now that he gets to start. I haven’t seen much outta him yet since he’s started playing with USC… He’s not making them scouts too happy rn. 😂
He is his father's son so nothing but greatness is expected but if he doesn't perform gr8 in all the games no sweat just more practice.simple👍👌💯😎 p.s i mean Bronny James
Rough game, but the young man has time to grow and shape his game. Being the son of a legend can be a burden, just ask Mike’s son. Even if it’s not basketball I hope he finds his true calling.
bro, being the son of manic depressed father who committed suicide when you were a teen is a burden. in his whole life, bronny can count the number of times hes frowned on one hand. i remember i frowned in front of him and he was like: what the f*ck is that? 😂 what are you doing with your mouth 😂
Trying to play basketball after having heart problems ain't easy. I'm speaking from experience. Everything isn't a joke. You mf's joke about everything until it happens to you.
As an SC fan this was hard to watch, we played amazing in the first half then second just forgot how to ball. With Boog n Collier out Kobe has to step up, we know he can get buckets n we know he can play D with them long ahh arms. But overall way too many turnovers and sloppy/lazy play. I know our szn is clipped but id still like to see us get some wins especially if we got a 13 pt lead going into the 2nd half
Bro bronny playing like he’s the best player in college so laid back chill he’s not being aggressive or hungry if he wants it he gotta go get it nothing is given everything is earned keep going tho young king
Bro my not terrible, but is the definition of privileged. McDonald’s all American and all this hype for a player that is a 4 year player at best. No NBA talent but somehow on a few mock drafts.
That's the meat riding lebrons had in the NBA as well both overrated can never criticize them they own the league since LeBron got drafted . NBA legit said he was better than Kobe in 2010 when Kobe had won 5 and lbj nothing 😂
Bronny was mid in HS and never deserved to be on that McDonald’s AA team. Basketball is a sport where it’s difficult to be on the floor for an extended period of time and gather no stats.
0:22 'Cmon down and join us Deion, "WE got room for you here at the TABLE." They be planning and preparing feverishly to come up with this nonsense... 🤔
Lebron: “Bronny could play in the NBA now” *Bronny for 0-7* 😂😂 He seems like a good kid and I’m glad he has overcame some health issues but his dad needs to be quiet.
Them boys suffocating the James kid stewps..just because he dad is great alyo cant expect his greatness to shine automatically.. practice makes permanent! remember that young man..repping U and your dad from Vincy ❤
Bronny is Returning from heart surgery and under medical protocols. He needs time. He's humble, talented and works hard. Trojans say fight on. He's only played a few college games. Fans are looking forward to seeing a fully healthy team play.
Give Bronny a break, kid went through a life threatening experience and still working to fully recover. It is not going to be easy to be a 💯 percent fit to play. He doing pretty good as far as I am concerned. Go Bronny!!!!!
@@PhoenixRising82672You can't be this stupid, The doctor clears you doesn't mean shit. It's mental when your funk heart stops. That's why most of y'all will forever live check to check. Y'all did nothing and been good at it.
It must be so hard for him to just be a normal young adult when you have the shadow of a HOF father shining on him every single moment of every single day. The sons of high-profile athletes rarely make it. They either go a different direction or fall victim to drugs and other destructive behavior due to the constant pressure to be their father. I wish this young man happiness and happiness on HIS terms - not our terms.
Whaaaaa.... Really... It must be hard being a snot nose brat whose dad bought his way into a school to play ball when his skills are clearly garbage. Nba my azz.. Wnba maybe
He just needs to shoot more undersized driving gives the defense them the advantage he's a good shooter needs to just shot when he gets it he can be like try young
Exactly, this hate especially towards a teenager is ridiculous. It be grown ass people hating on him because he's the son of one of the greatest to play the game. This country love hate & negativity which is pathetic.
Not hate when the media hype this kid up ppl are looking to see what they see and it’s not what they say it is, so why ppl can’t speak on what they actually see or seen 🤷🏾♂️🤔 make it make sense plz
Remember Jrue holiday averaged only 9 points a game as freshman and got drafted but….. Jrue also started every game. The main issue I see with bronny is he plays too small for his size, he is 6’4 but plays like he’s 6’1, also is not aggressive enough. We also have to realize he just came back after heart issues so that may be effecting his mentality; but, honestly he has great potential to be a Jrue holiday type of player. However to reach that potential he needs become more confident and become a hound on defense.
This is his true. And he can’t shoot. He’s another Lebron. Gets a lot of attention but needs to be surrounded by shooters and all stars to have a winning team
Bronny is legit. I think he just needs to go to a team that is willing to let him be more offensively aggressive and that looks for him more. USC has too many offensive mind players who think shoot first and pass second. Also, Bronny has to understand that teams/players are going to play him harder because of who his Dad/he is. Which means he is going to have to go harder. He will not get easy shots like his teammates.
@@nateindaytona8557 Bro is definitely a LeBron fan... Every year there always needs to be multiple coaches and whole sale roster changes for LeBron cause it's never his fault... It's always something else...
