I had Melee as a gift for Christmas when it was released in France, back when I was 12. I've been playing hundreds, thousands of hours throughout the years in the basement with my cousins. The best game I ever played. Still do sometimes.. And only now am I learning about all that competitive scene that exists for so long. You guys have pushed so far the art of Melee. Great job in Genesis Armada, Go Europ ! (and nice job Bronol ;) )

It's actually crazy to think that what motivated me first to play Smash competitively was a videp from @Bronol about the 5 most hype moments of Melee. I watched him first because he was a RU-vidr from the group Trash, and I started to watch his videos as well as @Fildrong or @Leo-Techmaker. I have been playing Smash since Smash 4 on 3DS, at the very beginning of it but I just wanted to have fun with my bro and my sis. Then I forgot about the game just like them, and then, 3 years ago, 2 words made me want to play Smash and become the best in the world: WOMBO COMBO. I play Smash Ultimate but it's a Melee video that made me tryhard the game. The Five Gods were my idols, such as ZeRo (before I learned about everything), and MkLeo, and I made me a promise: I will be a god of Smash. I'll reach them and beat them all Thank you @Armada for what you showed me. Your matchs were really impressive (I know you didn't do Wombo Combo but you were in the same video ;)) I am proud to see that my favourite Smash RU-vidr is watched by the person he talks about and gets congratulations, it's incredible for France cuz we aren't a huge nation of Smash, except Glutonny. I will follow your steps and come to the top of the world, and a lot of people will probably mock me because I'm a little dreamer that doesn't understand the difficulty of this challenge. I do. And to these people, I'll just say: Armada did it, why couldn't I? And that's why I thank you Armada, even if you failed at the beginning, you never stopped until you reached your goal, and I want to do it too. That's all for me. It's fun because, when there was the 5 god era, I didn't watch melee at all, in France it wasn't popular. However I knew the game and I knew there was some competition on it. I just heard that the best player in the world was "mango" and he played fox. Later someone told me that the best player is actually Armada. I'm very happy that Bronol told your stories, especially yours. Know I understand way better the melee scene. I somehow hope that nobody will ever steal your GOAT title !
