You say a lot of these tracks were created with that energy of you need to keep going, keep moving. I find this funny because when the album came out, my bf and I were driving to our apartment from an hour and 30 minutes away in my hometown. There was a massive storm coming, and I was looking at the radar constantly. It had a purple center on the radar and we were afraid of it producing a tornado. We listened to this on our drive the whole time and we compared a lot of the titles to our situation, "foundation" we compared to what was left after a tornado came through, "tense" is how we were feeling as we were driving quite literally directly into the storm, "contact," the moment a tornado touches the ground, etc. It fit our moment perfectly, as well as what happened in reality. We made it to our apartment and the storm moved unpredictably north and missed us entirely. Just thought this was super interesting that you specifically state that "sometimes you need to keep going and you dont know what's on the other side but you need to keep going anyways," since we were scared and tense about the storm but it was all fine in the end since we kept going. Much love!!
I didn't think I was going to like this album all that much when the singles started dropping. I've followed the careers of Harrison and Clay since the beginning, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the progression and exploration of sound they've gone through. This album is terrific and I can't get enough. Big thanks to our boys.
this is what makes Odesza, Golden Features, and the Foreign Family different than all other artist and genres. They are truly amazing. I've been following a long with Odesza since early 2012 right before they release 'Summer's Gone' ever since they have doing nothing but constantly topping themselves. I've never been so happy to see someone else succeed. Odesza, thank you
I had heard a few parts of the songs and i really didn't like them too much at first. I really liked heart attack, bline and vaults, but the other songs i didn't like too much. I came from knowing ODESZA and i heard the remix Golden Features made of Memories that you called and i loved it. Then, i heard this, the commentary, and i feel it's the best introduction i could've been given to Bronson. It just changed the hole idea that i had made up i my mind about the album and the proyect itself and now i just fell in love with the everything about this proyect: ODESZA, Golden Features and Bronson itself. Thank you to the three of you for making this and putting this dedication and to the proyect 💛 P.S: Right when i started playing this video i put ain my pocket and a really _Yellow_ Van passed in the street right next to my house. Coincidence? I dont think so
Amazing! As a person who's just starting to get into making music, this is a great insight into how experienced musicians approach creating stuff, both emotionally and intellectually. Loved the album, looking forward to new releases!
Thanks guys! Loved your last concert in Berlin. Love all the vinyl I could get with your music pressed into. Got the last yellow black vinyl of Bronson from Amazon. So happy. Thanks odesza and golden features! What a time to be alive. Stay healthy!
I love your music but I hate that this exists on Spotify. Spotify keeps shuffling these into my automatic playlists forcing me to unfllow you, Odesza and Golden features in order to get rid of it. What I'm saying is that having commentary tracks on Spotify is what hurts your streaming on these platforms.
Omg i love this commentary i love the inside look on how artist break down the emotion and process goes into making an amazing album. This feels like having a somewhat close connection with the artists. I wish you guys could have done this for a moment apart. PLEASE DO THIS FOR FUTURE PROJECTS
Geniuses. Seriously what a great collaboration. What a great opportunity for you all especially Golden Features. I cannot wait to see this trio perform together
They decided to try something different. They are still producing as Odesza and Golden Features is still producing as Golden Features. This is just their collab alias. Music is subjective, but to me, this album was them trying something new, and the amount of raw and eclectic sounds produced this incredible showcase of what all of them are capable of. That's, of course, my two cents on the album. What, to you, made the album a letdown?(I'm asking out curiosity, not to berate you)
