This area is just a tiny section of The Bronx. Wander a little and you might end up in Bronx neighborhoods like Riverdale, Pelham Bay, Throngs Neck and Bedford Park, Co-op city, which are relatively upscale but boring (at least for me). That aside, The Bronx is packed with history and culture. Despite the bad rep about poverty and crime, most people are friendly. It doesn't feel too artificial like in Manhattan.

this neighbor hood was scary back in the day, ccoming out of a party we almost got kidnaped and robbed ,,its more clm but if you walk down to D block its a different story.

Man, half my childhood was growing up in the BX. There are many things I miss about it. Summer evenings were always fun. Playing outside until the sun went down. Now I live in the suburbs upstate and my daughter will never get to experience it. Kinda sad
When the sidewalks look like an extension of people's living room, you know you're in The BX. 😊.. the grill, water gushing out of the fire hydrants and more.
You should! 😊Try to sample all across because all the neighborhoods are not the same. Different migrant populations and socio-economic levels dominate in different areas.
