IMPORTANT NOTES! PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING This start of the run begins in Bronze, so expect Bronze and Silver to be just meme ranks. I mostly just goof around and try to make content out of those ranks since it's extremely easy. Another thing to mention is that this is my first run doing a Bronze to GM series. There's a lot of controversy surrounding these kinds of runs and I completely understand. Out of my 10k+ hours in the game and almost 6 years of playing, I haven't done one of these before as I understand people don't like smurfing. Overwatch hasn't had any content for years, so this was the one thing my brain could come up with to make something out of essentially nothing. I did this run with absolutely zero comms, this is pure mechanics at play. Also if you see me complain, or if I just do my usual "Man I hate this character" or I decide to blame a teammate, I usually try to refrain from doing it, I'm just very competitive and I always want to win. (NEW TEXT!): I would say this is where it gets interesting. Diamond to masters isn't easy as a solo q Ana and the games got super close at times. The games were also super entertaining and the chat got really wild. Really hope you guys enjoy this part 2. I will be uploading part 3 within the next few days. Again, touching on the smurfing topic, I understand some don't approve and that's okay. I still think there's value with these videos because players can learn how I position, how I use my abilities, and what I do to turn fights around in my favor. Also I was completely out of voice comms and did not interact with my team whatsoever. I hope you all can learn something from these videos as this is a 3 part series. Enjoy!
I was watching the whole bronze to plat and I couldn't quite relate to how those games played out compared to my own. Smoothly getting through chokes, team mates reliably getting picks, manageable amount of incoming dmg etc, but looking at the first Diamond game on Hanamura I can finally relate. Getting stuck in chokes, not being able to take your eyes off of your suicidal rein for 1 second, people going in before I'm back and then complaining about no heals. This is home. Seeing how you played in that situation was the content I was after.
god i hate playing with praxis. such a resource hog. like he’s a playmaker fr but doesn’t know how to play passive to save his life. so glad to be out of diamond
