BRONZER FOR DEEP SKIN | FENTY BEAUTY 

I’m 440 but I really love this bronzer. I never thought it was an option for me either but it really finishes off my look. Every time I wear it, people say I’m glowing.

I hope y’all come out with a couple darker shades because people as dark as Nyma Tang don’t have a proper shade

I'm glad you properly educated people on the difference between using bronzers and contours. I've seen way too many beauty "gurus" applying bronzer like a contour and the results look silly. Bronzers aren't supposed to be super dark or applied so darkly on contour areas on the face.

This model was Beautiful before and after the colours applied really enhanced that beauty! In my humble opinion, I do think the brand needs to make a bronzer that goes darker than her skintone. I understand that this color gave her the warmth and frame to her cheeks the same way that a bronzer would lto lighter skintones but in this case even a eep color blush would do that and so she wouldnt need to buy this bronzer. It needs to be darker. I loved the video!!! xx

Fenty's inclusivity is a beautiful thing, but I hope they add an even darker shade. I want to see a bronzer that will work for the very darkest of skin tones.

I feel they are making the excuse.. “Bronzer doesn’t mean to be darker than your skin” just so they don’t make any darker shades because every shade lighter than the 400 has deeper bronzers. Even Rihanna wears a bronzer darker than her skin. Their promotional pictures had all the lighter women with sculpting bronzers except the deeper ladies. Every woman on their campaign had darker, golden or warm sculpting bronzers except the deeper ladies that just have a red, warm blusher on. Every woman I talked to about makeup doesn’t want a bronzer lighter and/or Same shade nor red on their skintone. That doesn’t make sense to say dark women don’t need a darker bronzer but lighter woman do.. and darker women only need a red bronzer. I have discontinued bronzers like (Shea Moisture Manadaly dusk, Fashion Fair Earth, MAC Naturally enhanced) that are darker than Mocha mami but don’t look like a deep red cherry blush. The shades are very golden or red warm brown shades but 2-4 shades darker than mocha mami so they work with deeper complexions. I hope they come out with darker golden warm shades like they made options for the lighter ladies. It’s amazing they made 8 shades but a let down that they didn’t make any options for the deeper ladies. Only a red cherry blush shade is the option we have(I’m 420 and mocha mami is a pretty blush on me). Dark women like myself want bronzers the same way light women want bronzers... we don’t want them red and the same skin tone or lighter then our own skin. Darker and deeper doesn’t automatically mean Contour... you can make a bronzer 5 shades deeper than Mocha Mami and it will still warm someone of a deep complexion. I feel like lighter ladies have sooooooo many options with bronzers

I like that they label these deeper but would more accurately be labeled richly melaninated. Her skin looks flawless as is & deep doesn’t give justice to the richness of what we have! A quick sun kiss & we glow all summer w/o makeup

Wow two years later and I still love reading the comments and so glad people were not afraid to call out Fenty while still giving the brand its props. They had this beautiful melanin chile out here with a blush on and had the nerve to be calling it a bronzer on her. Looking back, I see why the brand had a struggle in getting this right - they were trying to give everybody a shade and people were gonna get missed - hell people still getting missed because those cream bronzers be doing more contouring that bronzing. BUT all that being said - the reason why we stand for Fenty is they do listen - unlike some other brands. They gave us a hydrating foundation because not everybody could tolerate the thirsty matte version; they added a new shade to the Sun Stalk'r Bronzer - hope they don't wait another two years to add another shade cause truth is Thick Mint only covers the middle range of the 400s - the girls in the high 400s still need a shade. I remember when I watched this video and I wanted to slap them lies out of Hector's mouth as he claimed he was bronzing this beautiful chile - but now I'm like OK Hector, you was working with what you had - I get it - the girls out here have been doing that for years - working with eyeshadows as bronzers and eyebrow pencils as lipliners.. Shoot, if I knew Hector was gonna be out here using blush as bronzer, I would have passed him Mac's Film Noir with a Ttry this, its been working for me for years."

I love that they are making an effort to make a bronzer for dark skin girls like me (and I already went and bought myself this bronzer 😹😹) but I wish brands would stop making it seem like dark skin girls only have red undertones. This bronzer compliments her red undertones in a way that makes this a bronzer for her. For some like me with golden undertones its a really nice blush. Still a Fenty and RiRi fan doe 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
