Wow Lexi, what a thorough review with the most comparisons I think I've ever seen for bronzers. The CT looks really pretty on you although I knew Gucci would still rank higher. Thank you for explaining the undertones of the CT and taking the time to provide so much intel. 🥰❤️❤️👏👏
@@LexiJonghallo lexi 🥰Perhaps you can add the translation because I do not understand English very much, there are Arabs who follow you, and I am one of them🥰🥰
I am also very fair but with warm undertones, and Gucci # 1 is perfect for me. It warms up my skin without making me look like I’m wearing bronzer. I want to get Terra too. Thanks, Lexi!
Great bronzer comparisons! Although the cream bronzers are interesting, the thought of putting anything that feels heavy or “seals” the skin, gives me pause. My oily skin and I will stick with powder bronzers in the summer heat and humidity. But, I do thank you for earlier recommendations for the Gucci and Tom Ford bronzers. They work beautifully.
Hi Lexi, just a little note about hylaronic acid, it works best when there is moisture in the air, otherwise it well pull moisture from your skin, I only use products with hylaronic acid in the humid summer, which works very well at keeping my skin looking smooth and fresh.
Thank you, I found this video to be extremely helpful because you swatched the different colors on your arms massively and went into detail about each bronzer. I actually got a couple of new ideas on some different bronzer products that I had never thought of trying before period thank you!
I so appreciate this review, Lexi. I don’t own a bronzer that works for me. Bronzer is such a challenge that I completely omit it, but I’m pretty excited about the Gucci one now. Maybe soon I’ll try it. Thanks!
Hi Lexi, thank you for all the swatches! At the moment I am in love with the new Chanel les Beiges Cream Bronzer in 392. It is the new medium shade. As for powder bronzer my faves are the Gucci 01 and Tom Ford Terra. I was curious how you‘ll like the new Cream bronzer from Charlotte Tibury an I am happy you like it. I will pass on it because I already have a hard time to use up my current products and will stick with the three bronzers that I have now. Have a nice weekend and stay safe.
World Authority on Bronzers. Our Beauty Biologist certainly knows her stuff. I have hit pan on my VB and CT . I use Biscuit as contour too. Must get the Guerlain and Tom Ford. My Gucci is a bit dark. Now I am tempted by the new CT as I love the packaging too. Thanks Lexi.
Your favourites are mine too, #1 absolute favourite is the Gucci too and then the Guerlain (same colour).. Gucci-has the perfect colour, and finish. Bronzers are hard to find for fair skin. Not convinced on the CR cream bronzer but you've convinced me to take a look and see for myself.
I probably won’t get the CT bronzer but I really enjoyed your video and seeing all of your bronzers. You have a great collection of bronzers and I bet those weren’t all of them. Thank you for all the bronzer swatches it was helpful to see the various shade comparisons. 😊🌺
I absolutely love Geurlain! I just received their new Aqua Allegoria in Nerolia Vetiver Eau de Toilette. I LOVE the smell of neroli and this literally smells like honeysuckles mixed w/a very light floral scent. I’m not a perfume person, so for me to buy a perfume, it’s a big deal. It literally has to rock my world. Too bad we can’t smell all of them. I got it as a sample when I purchased their new Terracotta Bronzer. Unfortunately, it literally did not show up on my skin at all. I’m talking, I was caking it on and it was just not working and I had to send it back. Now that I actually watched Lisa Aldridge’s tutorial on how to contour, purchased the correct Sonia G brush to use for my face and practiced, I think I’m pretty good. I used Estée Lauder bronzer for years, but now I mainly use Victoria Beckham Bronzer. I use Charlotte Tilbury powder contour and Patrick Ta’s cream & powder bronzer contour duo. I do prefer a powder contour. All of your bronzers that u have swatched look like they would b contours on me. I look white but I am olive skin toned bc I’m half Italian. I had no idea how cool the new Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzer is. I would of been very disappointed if I would of purchased it, simply bc it’s just way too cool for me. Thank u so much for this review.
I love the Guerlain aqua allegorias! I haven't tried the neroli yet. I feel the same way about their fragrances. It is amazing how the different tones perform on different different people. I'm glad you realized it wouldn't work for you before purchasing.
Phew, this was a swatch marathon indeed, and somehow I still didn't see anything I'd like :'D I'd get the new CT, but it doesn't fit in my blazer's pocket or handheld pouch :( plus I feel like it'll pull too yellow on me. Maybe if it is popular enough, they will make a travel size of it, too? My most natural bronzer shade is the Chanel Baume Essentielle one. I'm parchment paper fair, yellow-olive undertone, so I tan easily, never burn. However if I use a yellowish bronzer I look dirty. If I use something with red in it, it always looks too deep or too cool. Orange ones are too warm. It is impossible to find anything! I'd like the powder dupe of my Chanel Baume stick shade, thanks :D
Yeah a swatches party ! Love it ! Goa is my fave and I just order a Bobbi brown one as I remenber that back in the days I own one that I loved bonne journée Lexi
As always, you give the best, most comprehensive reviews. Thank you! Your faves are also mine. I just picked up the CT and am looking forward to trying it out.
Great in depth review as we enter into the summer season. I have more bronzer than I need, but my personal collection favorites are also Gucci 01, TF terra and I still reach for Marc Jacobs Tantastic.
CT has made some ridiculous claims in the past😏 - but this looks very nice! I also use WA Biscuit as a bronzer; enjoy Chanel, Sisley, Tom Ford and Chantecaille GOA. Your comparisons are so helpful. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing Maureen! I agree - I am not the biggest CT fan but I think she does a great job with her bronzers and a few other items. I still need to try the pinkgasm product. I'm so glad my comparisons are helpful. Have a wonderful weekend!
Good morning friend!! I love your makeup and nail polish today. You look so pretty!! Thank you for the bronzer overview and all of the swatches. I only have the bronzer from Illamasqua in the medium shade and I like it. It has a cool tone and warm tone and a teal strip in the middle. I only use a little bit of product as it’s so pigmented. I love a bronzer that has some redness to it as I think it looks better on me. Excellent video Lexi!! Thank you!!
Hi Lexi, Thank you so much for another wonderful very informative in depth review. It seems like the TF is the best shade and texture for you followed by the Gucci and then the Guerlain. Except for the fact that the Guerlain is probably more festive because of the sheen / highlighted glow which invokes a more summery vacation vibe. I wonder if you have ever tried the Sisley l’orchidee highlighting blush in shade 01. It has red undertones which look really good as a blush bronzer also on fair or light skin tones. Furthermore what are your thoughts on the new Chantecaille Soleil eye and cheek bronzer? Was considering it but not sure if it’s too similar to the Goa bronzer. As far as the CT cream bronzer it seems like an interesting product but not sure how much use one can get out of it if it doesn’t work well as an all over bronzer. Perhaps it would work well high up on the cheekbones (as you mentioned) but then combined with another cooler shade bronzer before adding a blush. Wishing you a lovely day and a fantastic weekend ahead 😘
I have the Sisley l'orchidee in 1 but have only used it as a blush. I really like it! I did not pick up the Chantecaille but it looks more taupey than the Goa from what I can tell. I think it might be more similar to the Sirena shade but I definitely think it will be very different from Goa as it is shimmery too. I will probably never hit pan on the CT! I think a lot of people like to use bronzer more than I do and will use it on their bodies too but I know I won't. I like your idea of mixing the bronzers. I will try that! Have a great weekend too!
Great video and I don't wear bronzer! I was considering getting the Kevin Aucoin powder so it was good to see a swatch and wondering if with a light hand the Gucci one could be a blush...
These comparisons were great. I have always been hesitant to try the Gucci bronzer although I know that shade would be great for me. I can’t do a lot of makeup with fragrance. I’m rather sensitive and they tend to break me out terribly 😑. On another note… I’m eager to know what you think of all the new Fude you’ve recently added to your collection. Any idea when you might get a video up? 😁
I completely understand about the Gucci! I wish there were more bronzers out there with similar coloring. As for the fude brushes, I need to put up a video soon with the ones I have so far but my Hakuhodo brushes have not shipped yet and probably won't arrive for a few weeks. I cannot wait to get them. I should have another brush video up soon on some others though.
Hey lexi .. great video and comparisons .. I’m going to skip on this as I have the Chanel deep and I’m really happy with the WA sticks I have.. I was gonna pick it up but it will be a waste of money as I love the ones o have .. have a fab weekend ♥️
New to your channel! Great thorough review, almost like you read the comments under other YTers reviews. You answered all of my questions and I feel more confident in choosing my next bronzer. I currently am using the CT powder bronzer like yours in shade 2/medium, but now I’ve hit pan and I think I’d like to get the Gucci powder bronzer. Still debating on CT cream bronzer but I’m also interested in looking into the Solei crm bronzer or Nars Laguna crm bronzer. What are your thoughts on comparing CT contour wand to her new cream bronzer? I recently purchased that in med dark and like it. It’s the only cream product I have for contour and bronze. Thanks for sharing, have a safe Memorial Day weekend!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback. I haven't tried the CT contour wand unfortunately. I have heard great things about the formula though so it might be a good option to use up before exploring the new one. Have a great weekend!
Hey Lexi… what a thorough nd helpful video it is👌👍👍🥰so many comparisons , swatches 👌My favs are Gucci (3), victoria beckam (3), Too faced chocolate bronzer, CT (2) but O was waiting for reviews now actually swinging between chanel (395) nd CT (2).. so please let me know which one is ur fav in these two.. it will be helpful..🥰❤️
Thanks for the review Lexi - I am not so much of a Bronzer person as I have had many issues with too yellow undertones or then being too light on my light to medium complexion (Gucci and TF included). My favorite Bronzer is from Dolce & Gabbana in number 4 but I think DG is not available in the US market. Love the color of your nail polish - what is it? 🙋🏻♀️
Yes unfortunately DG isn't available here. I have heard great things about their formulas though! My nails are the Chanel nail polish in Evanescence. Thank you Sanella!
@@LexiJong thanks to you, I did buy the Gucci bronzer. It looks really beautiful on me. I’m debating whether to get the TF terra bronzer at the Holt sale for 15% off. Thanks
Also, talking about bronzer, how do you like the Chanel les Beiges cream bronzer? Do they look a bit like Tom Ford’s cream contour? Are the textures almost the same? Thanks
I haven't purchased one recently. I don't wear my old one much but I know it has changed since then. I think it's okay. For cream bronzer, I like the Burberry best but it is only in the Essentials glow palette and I think it's oos.
@@LexiJong the 395 bronzer looks scary dark in the jar but on our fair skin, it’s looking so beautiful, Lexi, you gotta try it! The 390 may be too orangey for us but the 395 is like the Gucci bronzer that we both love, it’s really nice to contour and add shape/definition!!
I feel the same way about it - too orange for me but I know others who love it and it looks great on them. I wish they had more color options because the formula is so nice.
