Top notch Brook trout, my best is 13 1/2" on a small creek in upper lower Michigan. You should still be able to get him mounted as a replica. Great video.

Awesome video, if you have good pictures and good measurements you could have a replica made,..never a bad decision to release my cousin used to take me fishing for lake trout and he used to say "you'll never catch him again if you dont put him back" just think you may catch him next year at 5 lbs. Keep up the great videos

Thanks! It was awesome for sure. And no camp grounds on it, private lake that you need permission to access it from one of the many camp owners. No public access on it

Ok, there are no splake in that body of water though, only browns and brookies

They stocked The lake with Brooke trout and brown trout way back in the day, they stopped stocking it in the early 70s so all the fish that are in there now are babies from those fish. There isnt any Splake in lakes near it either. 🤷🏻‍♂️
