The title of this video is so real though cause I always tell this to people. Season 2 is frustrating as hell BUT the Brucas build up is too good. The angst, the pining, the slow burn of it all!
i’m so glad they didn’t end up together bc brooke deserves the world and he couldn’t give that to her… b davis has the most precious heart in the whole series and did not deserve all the hurt she went through
The writers really built on their relationship this season and then expected us to believe Peyton was lol of a sudden back in the picture. That was some dumb writing
She honestly wasn’t back in the picture at all until s4 … Lucas wasn’t even thinking about Peyton like that anymore until Brooke dumped him lmao He was still going around saying how he loves and wants to be with Brooke post break up while Peyton was friend zoned .. the writing was so forced it’s unbelievable to watch seeing how Lucas actively pursued Brooke for 2 1/2 seasons only for Peyton to catch feelings for him again when he’s clearly happy being with Brooke SMH
@@HazelAmarie Lucas always loved Peyton he was just in denial about it, but he would show his love for her by always choosing to be there for her even when he's with Brooke he still chooses to be there for Peyton which shows that he would do anything for her because he really cares about her and Brooke saw that when he was taking caring of Peyton after she almost got raped at a college party and she also wanted someone that would care for her so she went after Lucas but she could never win because he would always put Peyton first.
@@natashaortiz8547 Stop this lie anyone can go back and re watch s2 and 3 .. Lucas was not thinking about Peyton what happened was Chad and Sophia got divorced so they went back to Peyton. He was all about BROOKE during those two seasons he did not love Peyton in a romantic way so stop this lie.
@@HazelAmarie It's not a lie it's facts and the Creator even said that the reason they changed the writing had nothing to do with their breakup because they were still in production when their separation had already been announced meaning that he still had time to change the storyline and that in the second half of Season 3 he could have had them go their separate ways instead of waiting to do it until Season 4.

Fun fact: Chad Michael Murray was offered the role of Ryan on The OC. He turned down the role because he said he didn't want to play the bad boy anymore. He instead chose to do One Tree Hill. Ben Mckenzie eventually got the Ryan role on The OC.
I feel like they would've stayed together in the show if Chad didn't pull a Lucas on Sophia because I know the writers only made them get back together because the actors were engaged in real life

No hate to the people that ship Lucas and Peyton but how can Leyton shippers watch this and say that he didn't love Brooke too. I was personally a Brucas fan, however, I'm a Brooke stan and I detest the things that Lucas put Brooke through. She really did deserve the world and much more!😥
i’m a Leyton shipper and always have been but brooke has always been my favorite as well lol . i love them together and i think their relationship was genuine but i always knew that him and peyton were gunna get together and they’re chemistry was so good together . i loved their brooke and lucas’s friendship a lot more than them dating

@@winchester1436you’re not lying .. Lucas has spent half the series trying to pursue other women while being TOLD that he should be with Peyton. It was never Lucas himself actively choosing Peyton over anyone .. barring s1 Lucas did not go out of his way to be with Peyton .. he was very much in love with Brooke all s2 and 3 and only went with Peyton when he knew Brooke was done with him. Same thing with Lindsey … going out of his way to try and be with her after she left him at the alter .. once that doesn’t work he’s back with Peyton again. The writing for Leyton was not well written.
He kept Peyton's stuff because he wasn't over her and the only reason, he got feelings for Brooke was because he saw a different side to her but then when she went back to her party/games way he didn't seem that interested, and he just went along with it because that's what she wanted, and he kept showing her that he didn't want to be with anyone else but her while she would be having fun with other guys and the only reason he got with a girl was because she told him too and when he would do what he was told to Brooke would get mad at him because he wouldn't know what she would want until she told him and then he would start fighting for her but she would keep messing up and then he would forgive her out of nowhere after he was just mad at her and then when they officially got together her mean side would come out that she would want him to say bad things about Peyton and the reason they didn't work out was because they could never talk about their issues or what they are going through like he does with Peyton and because of that Brooke stopped missing him so she broke up with him and she didn't even bother to fight for him because she thought that he had being sneaking around with Peyton again and so he gave up on trying to get Brooke back and you could tell that as soon as they got together that it wasn't going to work out because he had gotten closer to Peyton during the summer that they hung out, shared secrets and talked about what they were going through that Brooke would get jealous of them because she could tell that after everything that Lucas and Peyton had gone through that they still had an unbreakable bond and that no one could get between them so she decided to get out of the way and let destiny take its course.
I think I read that the creator always meant to have Lucas end up with Peyton. Brooke and he would date though. Then I think this is what happened. The actors got married so that squashed the Peyton plan until they got divorced which put them back on the Peyton plan. And I’m team Brooke to the end. Their chemistry was perfection
If you watched the first six Seasons or the first five seasons cuz I just watched it back I believe that Brooke didn't deserve to get as much hurt as she did. The one mistake that she did was going out the Lucas and she knew that he was in love with Peyton from the start

It was always Lucas & Peyton. I don’t need to watch “Leyton videos”. I’ve watched the show hundreds of times, since 2003. I could probably recite the script. This video popped up on my homepage, I’ve not even watched it. I simply came to comment facts. All you children are bitter you didn’t get the ending you wanted. So much, that you have to sit and watch “Brucas” videos.😅

i just dont like leyton because they hurt so many people along the way and i dont think it was necessary, also i understand that it was her all along. but he did fell in love with Brooke anyways :)
