Brooke and Tad fight over Jamie's custody and then (not shown) she lies and says Edmund is the new baby's father on the stand during the custody hearing. She then berates herself over lying like that at Laura's grave. Then she cries in Edmund's arms over losing the baby (ectopic pregnancy), makes up with Tad and agrees to shared custody and tells Maria that Edmund is in love with her not Brooke, sniff.

what an amazing actress!! I remember crying through these scenes! I totally agree...Brooke and Edmund always belonged together...he never loved Maria the way he loved Brooke.

Brooke was wrong in this storyline. Tad wasn't trying to take Jamie away from her. They wouldn't have been in court except the fact she was trying to leave town and runaway with him. And it backfired in her face. And I'm glad. Yes Tad was a creep for a husband but he loved his son. And Edmund marrying Maria was the worse thing ever. Yuck.

Brooke was the loser in this story, while SAINT MARIA, Edmund, Dixie and Tad basked in happiness. HATED it. Hated the ending of this story. And I'll always hate Maria LOL! It's been years and I will never get over it!! Brooke and Edmund forever!!!
