Tom supports Brooke. He gets angry when she describes someone (Adam) putting her down (old maid scene shown on AMCthroughtheyears channel) and encourages her to cry when, after Gloria is revealed as Adam's poisoner, Brooke realizes how she could not see Gloria coming unspooled.
