I love that not only did Amy get to do her funny ass dork dance but that they also cast Amy’s real life husband as the puzzle master. TRUE STORY: So when Melissa Fumero was a teenager she was obsessed with the music video for the song Honey by Mariah Carey, in particular she was in love with the man at the end of the video who sweeps Mariah off her feet. So after nearly 2 months of dating he one day casually brought up the fact that he was in a Mariah music video, to which Melissa FREAKED THE HELL OUT!😂😂😂

The guy they thought who was the criminal, Sam, is Will Shortz the puzzle editor of The New York Times. Amy has mentioned him numerous times on the show so they got him to be a guest star.

I know what happens with Amy's promotion. But for this conversation, is it possible that there is only one sergeant in a precinct? I would think that there is one captain but a bunch of sergeants and lieutenants

There can be many sergeants in a precinct, but I believe it’s one sergeant per department. Terry is already Sergeant (and then Lieutenant) of the Detective Squad, which is why Amy is made Sergeant of the Patrol cops instead.

As for Captains, I don't know cause there was that one time when they were on night duty and Ray was captain again during that time but the dumb captain was still around during the day and he was the one who put them on the night shift. I could be mistaken, it's been a while since I've rewatched that far back

Holt is captain of the entire 99 precinct. Terry is sergeant of the 99 detectives, and Amy is sergeant of the 99 uniformed officers. There are sergeants throughout each sector of the 99, but the captain oversees the precinct as a whole

Dangerous Liaisons is a movie made in the 80s and they just did a modern remake (again) for Netflix.... The other remake made in 1999 was Cruel Intentions. I personally am not a fan of any of the renditions because it's about awful people trying to manipulate and destroy innocent people's lives.

Aaron seems to be cosplaying as someone who should definitely not be in close proximity to another specific group of people.. I'm not sure who that character is, or who that group of people might be, but it's definitely happening. Maybe it's children? Maybe it's a race or nationality of people of a certain color? But if I see a person dressed that way in a grocery store, my knee jerk reaction is, "Huh. I bet they have some strong opinions."

Dangerous Liaisons honestly isn't a movie that's brought up a lot in general. You're coming off as super pretentious right now. A romantic period piece set in pre-revolution France isn't going to be on most movie watchers radar no matter how critical acclaimed it is. That's like if I shat on everyone who wasn't familiar with Antichrist (2009) which is an amazingly made film but also super niche.
