Ronnie Dunn one of the best country male voices over the last 30 years. B&D have had 39 singles reach country top 10 and 20 of those have reached number 1, so Dani, if you do not react to more B&D I will be highly disappointed. Someone made a good suggestion for the next B&D song "Neon Moon". There is a great live performance of "Neon Moon" posted by Nor'west Arch. Oh and another one that will touch you is "Bleed Red" just look up Ronnie Dunn "Bleed Red" he did it solo not with Brooks & Dunn.
This is a true story written by the singer Ronnie Dunn (born Denton Texas 1953). In this story, it appears that Ronnie apparently didn't have a father around and Mr. Rigley became his mentor. Even more importantly. Mr. Rigley. in a gentle and not overbearing way, was teaching him about faith, God, and the truth about life everlasting for those who believe in His son Jesus. That's why Mr. Rigley said he would be seeing his wife and son "in a little while". And some may not know about "the Words written in Red", those are the words spoken by Jesus which in many Bibles are printed in Red.
This is a sad song, no doubt. That aside, the singer has a powerful rich voice that took me by surprise when I first saw a reaction to this video. Yes, this is a very special song. I watch every reaction that gets done to this song, and it never fails to bring tears to my eyes. There's a lot of pain in the world, and the writers who know how to speak the language of the heart, can bring comfort, even if tears are sometimes involved!! In the Brooks and Dunn song Believe he refers to the words written in red. In the old testament in a southern Baptist Bible the points that they want to get across to you are printed in red. Just wanted to give you that heads up because it probably doesn't make sense to anyone else.

He also has a song, "This ain't nothing" and "That's what I like about Sunday". "Stay" is a true story also, in which the singer, Jenifer Nettles, husband was unfaithful with another woman, and even though they divorced, Ms. Nettles sings this song from the perspective of the "other' woman and it is emotional as well.
