My beautiful, hardworking Grandaughter just secured a full rodeo scholarship to college. That cowgirl Don’t cry either. I’m So proud of her. She works harder than anyone I know.
i haven't heard this in years! i grew up around when brooks and dunn. reba, garth, george, toby and WAY more were really popular. i could make this alot longer of a comment. but ya i went against the grain of my family and listened to rap and rock but i still to this day love country. it brings back my childhood.
A song by Reba that yall would love because of the message is Just Like Them Horses. She wrote it about her dad when he passed away. It has a beautiful message and is an amazing video to go with it.
My favorite songs from Brooks & Dunn are That Ain’t No Way To Go; Whiskey Under the Bridge; Neon Moon; Hard Workin’ Man; She Used To Be Mine; Brand New Man; She’s Not the Cheatin’ Kind; If You See Him, If You See Her (with Reba McEntire); and of course Believe!
Reba used to compete in rodeos in her younger years, doing what the young girl in the video was practicing, it’s called barrel racing and it’s a competition for girls.
You'd best be on your best, Marcus. Christian's no nonsense voice there in the beginning ain't to be trifled with! 😂 Girl can mean business when she wants to!
Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies. Psalm 148:1-4
Brooks & Dunn have a fantastic origin story. Maybe not fantastic....but it's certainly unique. But it also takes away a bit from the duo. Apparently both of these guys were trying to get on a label at the same record company. They didn't know each other but they had back-to-back auditions. They both got a call back and they were told that they would sign them to a label, But only if they could make it work as a duo. The guy they audition for instantly recognized from 2 separate auditions that those 2 guys would sound amazing together. And he was right. The reason that does take away just a bit is that they never really became great friends. Even though they made music for 40 years together and they're still making music. I'm sure they were friends but they weren't going to each other's holiday parties and that kind of stuff. They both had families and when they werent on stage or practicing they were with their families so they never really got as close as you might expect.
