We are so privileged to have had the music from the 60’s up until now. Doubt that any other generation will be this lucky. Such great memories. How do you give this a thumbs down?
Not just music, but everything. Baby Boomers have seen the world change for black and white TV to flat screen color. Telephones from party lines to smart phones. Cars from manual only to electric cars. Cooking from old ranges to microwaves. And the best music from Rock, Motown, and Country. We have been so blessed and our children and grandchildren will never know the joy we had growing up.
@@daf62757 Hate to be a buzzkill but you will be trumped by far. The generation after you has so much more. Medical technology to keep people alive in a way that has never been seen before, Tech moving so quickly you can't even fathom it (480p wired to 8k wireless within 25 years), basic cell technology to 5g within 20 years, and a number of other things. The generation after you is living in the genuine information age. Anything Mankind has discovered is a peer reviewed article away. The tech they will see will be unfathomable to you within their lifetime. They have a joy you have never experienced as a child. The best part is it will only keep getting better and I hope you are proud of that.
Omg Ronnie, you really own this song. You deserve to claim it. It's true George Strait originally sang this song, but OMG Georgeyou can't deny Ronnie does just as good a job on it as you do. But the voice, the acoustics, the band. And it looks like George Strait is totally in awe. You can tell he definately is enjoying it. 👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Hello!!! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day… Stay Safe.
great rendition, Kix & Ronnie did George proud. Country Music maybe dead on the radio, but it's alive & kicking in the hearts of millions. Country Rap is never played through any speakers of mine.
I played this when my late husband Craig passed away. He was my cowboy and that was his nickname among his friends. I sure miss him badly especially hearing this song.
Awesome I'm afraid not , Ronnie looks pretty but no real depth in the voice ,bordering almost a struggle to reach the notes ,Look at his face ,he tries so hard,
My God!! What an awesome version. I am a musician and a singer playing the circuit in London UK for nearly 30 years. This is the tops and Mr. Dunn has a voice to die for!!

This just goes to prove great country singers can sing just about any song written and recorded by other artists. Excellent job on this song Brooks and Dunn, I love it. 💖💖💖😁👍🎵🎵
@RonnieDunnmusic211 I'm from the city of Hamilton, Ont Canada. 45-60 minutes west of Toronto Ont. Boy must tell you guys you have absolutely!! ACED THIS SONG !! IT BELONGS TO YOU. Had tickets for your show in Detroit Mich. Back in mid 90's. But ended up sick and couldn't make it. A huge loss for me. You guys are phenominal !!! ❤❤❤❤👍👍👍😁😁😁💯% Plz don't ever quit singing. Love yas !! 😊😊😊
A beautiful song, by the King, George and this one sung by B&D. A lovely rendition. George Strait, is such a gorgeous-looking man, with a magnificent voice & personality... ❤
He isn't very tall for a Texan. He is very kind and down to earth to the people of San Antonio. He lived in his adobe mansion on a hill above me in The Dominion - I lived in a gardener's cottage below. Could hear his helicopter come and go. He moved. God bless this man he has had his own heartaches. His daughter was killed in a car crash when she was 14 - his only little girl. He didn't sue the 18 year old showing off in his new Mustang convertible. This kid had connections and got a slap on the wrist more or less, but George Strait didn't react in any negative way. That is just who he is, a man of integrity, honesty, great morals, and so much more. God bless.
The record companies and the greedy station program directors are ruining country music because they have tried to turn country music into "pop" music. They refuse to play real country songs.

I've listened to this several times today and the deep complex harmonies are simply incredible. Im so grateful to be able to enjoy your God given talents. Thank you and May God continue to bless you.
Most of today's "country radio" music isn't country in any sense of the word. Thankfully, we still have an A.M. station that plays country classics. :-)
Cool, see they didn't mess it up. These 2 great musicians as a Duel have been my all time favorites for many, many, years. Ronnie Dunn's voice just fabulous. Kicks Brooks, song You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone. I just melt. Love these 2 wonderful musicians. ❤ I'm still a big fan of 1990s Country Music era. 🎶
I've loved music all my 79yrs but living in England you don't get to hear a lot of country so I've just found Brooks &Dunn and now I play them every day I think there music is fantastic it makes me smile and dance and keeps me young love them and can't get enough of them xxxxx
This is a song for us all. ... I love this rendition. What a voice and the message the lyrics delivers. Wow. One of my all time favorite groups and songs
Jeez. I can't keep from coming back to this one on a daily basis...SEVERAL times... What an awesome duo. There won't be another like em in my lifetime. Sad days when the parted ways. Sad, sad, days...
Brooks and Dunn could sing names out of a phone book (remember those?) and make it sound awesome but performing "Cowboy Rides Away' they truly capture the greatness and essence of country music! The harmonies, the passion and the perfection of the duet is without equal!
When I heard George's version I loved it but this version I could listen over and over, they're that good. Now I understand why Taylor Swift loves them
I have never heard this song until now..I am in awe plays it over and over again. No doubt the most beautiful song I have ever heard. Bless both the song writer and the performanse...And George they did absolutely not mess it up.
INCREDIBLE performance of a George Strait classic. GS seems be so focused on the symbolism of himself being the cowboy riding away that he commented later in the show that he wasn't done yet. We know you're not, George. Here's to many more years of great music. Cheers!

@@pearlstinson3375 Hey! That’s very good to know, I just can’t stop myself from listening to this song anytime am alone! If I may ask which of their songs is your favorite? Have a great day… Stay Safe
I swear, Ronnie Dunn could sing the alphabet & make it sound flawless. One of my favorite George Strait tunes, and Kix & Ronnie nailed it. Miss these guys and this generation of country. Sadly, this kind of country music died a long time ago.
Brooks and dunn, you couldn't get more awesome than that. The george strait song sounds even better with the duo. Can't wait to get more music from them.
Ronnie Dunn could sing the newspaper or phone book or street names or...you name it. A wonderful tone, pitch, etc. I love his voice and this song. Thanks, George.

OH, WOW, YOU CAN 'T FIND MUSIC LIKE THAT ANYMORE,AND BROOKS AND DUNE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON THE GEORGE STRAIGHT CLASSIC, AND IT WILL NEVER BE COPIED OR SANG NO BETTER THAN B& D.❤😂❤
Ronnie's voice is incredible; much like King George, who, when he starts this at concerts, it's sad, cuz u know it's over. Long live George Strait. Semper Fi.
@@charlotteebel5586 God made more people suffer than George, take your god fearing ass outta here an ask him why he brought so much suffering to the world when he could have made peace. or just be an agnostic and enjoy good music.
