Geo! This video was a huge hit during Thanksgiving festivities. We had my Katmai playlist running in the background. We are planning to visit in August 2024. The kids asked to play this one again a few times asking questions about the bears. Next generation of Katmai support! 🐻💜
164 is one of my favorite bears but I see he is going to be aggressive has he gets older he will not back down from even the biggest and catch a fish in the process
Man oh man!!! I started, 👀, katmai ,brooks falls bout a month ago.. 128 was my intro, 747/ 856/ 151/ 164/ 402/ 435 Then I saw the epic battle tween 68 & 747, anda couple other 68 vids.. He was agile/ great demeanor, just was a great bear. THEN I saw he hasn't ,bean sighted since ,fall of 2019.. No one has any clue of what happened to the great 68 I hope he cones back too..

@@ikejennings1154 It is quite possible that 68 found a spot in Katmai where he stays close instead of coming back to Brooks Falls. If you want to see another tough bear, RU-vid "24 BB vs Norman Brooks Falls." I was at Brooks Fals in 2006 and BB 24 was dominant for 10 years until Norman got the best of him. It was a lot less crowded then, with no walkways like today. Peace!
@tedfio1tedfio1 Yes!! I saw that bear, 24 , it's not about 68 or any bear being the toughest. We saw how 68 & 503 hadda great bearship, and others...From the vids ,I've seen of any of katmais bears...68 just had that it factor, & not just because of the 747 brew haha....He seemed very , tolerate of other bears, and he seemed imo, that he really thought things out, for whatever he was gonna do that day!! Like you text, 68 ,might be hanging round, just being 68.. Thank you again for your very helpful replys.!!
@@geo_animalvideos Yes, only hierarchy jousting indeed. Any video taping of real fights where someone gets hurt is only human expressions of our own violence. So these videos are only jousting & OK to tape. "When we are surrounded by, & wallow in, a culture of violence, we similarly become numb to violence. To deny that is absurd. And that is why we stand around & record a violent episode on the street on our smartphones rather than intervene to help." Gary Francione There are people who tape real stray cat fights or raccoons vs cat & they could have stopped the attacks easily by throwing a stone or stick at someone's face rather than getting a kick out of a tragedy. Someone filmed a cat fight between two lynx. You cannot stop that fight, but put down the camera & don't film. Someone got really hurt in that fight. Cats are domesticated animals & do not deserve to be abandoned strays & do not deserve to be put in the position to defend their lives against wild animals or other strays. In any case, I do hope dear sweet Gentleman Otis makes it to 2024. If people will stop eating the salmon & fish that belong to them--not us. 😼
@@Divinedarling10 Music is much like humor; what appeals to one doesn't appeal to everyone. My son loves death metal music; I hate it. Some people think ridicule of another is humorous, others find it repugnant. I'm sure there are people that like that style of music, but it limits your future audience to those that share that taste. It's something to keep in mind if the goal is to increase subscribers, which means appealing to a broader audience with very diverse tastes.
The clip with 747 and Bucky was hilarious. Bucky deserves Mr. Congeniality he doesnt back down but you see 747 not teally trying either and they just stop and sit 😂😂. Bucky is just that guy in everyone's space but also charning as hell that he seems to get away with way more then the rest.
