@@Blackeyedview1611 I know. I lived there for 6 months. I thoroughly investigated getting residency to the hilt, but that is the only way to do it legally. If you don't do it with a lawyer and stay over your visa, you WILL go to jail.
I thought it was $2500 for 2 years, still expensive . In addition, 'the african jumbee' (RU-vidr) said, he got residency without using a lawyer. Also if you over stay, I believe the penalty is a fine then jail if you are not able to pay the fine. That said, I'm Not recommending that anyone over stay

Currently living in Australia,applying permanent visa is almost over 15,000 usd plus lawyers onother 10,000 and no guarantee of getting visa, in Tanzania is guarantee after paying 2000 usd you get 2years visa, and you following the process ofter you get permanent residents, just some peoples just love misleading others.
People talking about visa and residency in the comment section don’t know anything about. There is no visa for 2000 USD. If you want to get residence permit as investor, it will cost you 1000usd for work permit to minister of labor, and 3000 USD for residence permit to immigration. Both are valid for two years. You can do everything yourself, don’t need a lawyer. A lawyer is only needed to certify the documents
