Imagine how differently things would've gone if they'd actually demonstrated this much grief over Bruno's absence, and this much desire to have him back, instead of insisting that "We don't talk about Bruno."

Well, because she had to hide her sadness with her anger over Bruno when he particularly ruined her wedding day so she wouldn’t literally cry a river and accidentally flood the town with her sadness so she won’t become a hate magnet herself. Besides everybody else in the town has the same emotion of anger towards Bruno because of his bad visions and prophecies and they blame him for every bad thing that happens. And they believe everything he says is a prophecy even when he tries to tell a joke or something.

I have watched an unhealthy amount of animatics/animations on the internet, but this has got to be one of the most emotion-inducing ones I've ever seen. The emotion that you're able to portray through the characters as well as the heartwrenching story thats being told...this is wonderfully tragic. Thank you for your talent shshhdbkwdn 😭

Poor bruno, Pepa and Julieta they truely did love each other in their own but each to deal with stress of growing up and being perfect in Alma eyes and bruno had deal with even more stress of siblings drifting away from him as started their own family but they still loved and missed him and each other in their own way Why does this animation make me cry 😢 😭 😢😭😭

When I said I Cried. I REALLY Cried. In all honesty i didn't believe the comments when a lot of people said they cried over this, but right after I watched this masterpiece- I cannot help but shed some tears while at it, This is beautifull, thankyou for giving us such a beautifull piece😭💕

This is a part of Encanto the movie never truly explored. of course, the movie still had to lean to being light-hearted as it is after all a Disney movie, but this type of content to me is, an extension of the movie but has the depth that certain parts of the movie were lacking. Grief, consequence, and insanity. In fact, I couldn't believe Bruno ploughed through a decade in the walls + years before of being the scapegoat of the town and disappointment to his family, without doing something horrible to himself...It's quite enough to drive someone to _a point of no return_ . His sisters were his lifeline for him and to cut them off in equal intention of loving them as much as the consequence was of abandonment that caused them equal if not more amounts of pain than the intended love and protection, was the hardest decision he's got to make. Like I said, this animatic is complex, explores the poignancy of the triplets' relationship and very, very real and raw emotion

my thoughts exactly. after everything bruno has been through i find it very hard to believe that in his 50 years of life he'd never thought nor tried to commit suicide

@@cipherthedisaster Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he did. I wouldn't blame him, either, though the thought is incredibly painful. Poor Bruno. So yeah, idk if he ever got caught attempting suicide or shared any suicidal thoughts with his family, but I wonder if Pepa and Julieta thought that Bruno had committed suicide when he disappeared?
