I feel your pain - I have the exact same model, and I cannot find a way to reset the toner after changing them out. So frustrating. Why should I call Brother? When you change the toner, it should automatically pull up the screen to reset it.
Thanks for the video. But we have been using Brother printers across our buildings . Multiple models. 9340CDW or 3770CDW etc, for years. At least 2-3 years in 10 different locations, and we have not had any issues with printing or scanning to emails. For scanning to email, you need to use the app for the same. Maybe you got a lemon. Ask for replacement. Anyways just thought of sharing my experience with Brother. Thinking its greener on the other side, i jumped ship to HP and Xerox and jumped right back to Brother. HP was quite good, however the toners were really costly compared to the Brother toners from Amazon. The paper yield was also way higher & lower cost for Brother.
Uninstall the app, remove the drivers and delete the printer from your computer. Reattach the cable and let the printer install the drivers again. Then make this the default printer and make sure your apps see this as the default. You should be able to print then. Looks like you have a driver error and the app is trying to connect via a fault set up.
Please don't do a one handed review ever again. It just isn't quality enough for people to watch. Also employers don't want to employ someone who sounds like they are half asleep and sound like they are from the street...
