The "K" stands for Command as it is spelled with a K in Russian. This actually applicable to all T tanks as they all have a command variant which have some type of additional equipment not normally fitted. On most, it is usually just enhanced radio equipment or positioning equipment however on the T-80U the Soviets went a bit further and decided to include upgrades which made the tank more capable. The original U's did not actually have thermal sights and the UK's did as another example. This is also seen with the T72B 1989 (but not in game). In reality some T72B 1989 tanks placed in command roles were equipped with thermal sights but it was not common or standardized like with the UK's.
It does more damage but I still don't fully understand some of the changes. M111/DM23 had like a 0.5 Kg weight increase and effectively, has more spalling, but lost like 50mm of penetration despite preserving the same muzzle velocity? Weird. Also I think sometimes the spalling can be a bit excessive, yesterday I got hit by a T-72 with my Begleitpanzer from the front-left, and the fragments killed every crew member. But overall I'd say the changes were positive.

All of WT problems could be fixed by adding a new mode with tanks just keep ground RB but take all the CAS out and for the people who want to play with everything just have a all out warfare mode
u asking too much work for them so they wont do it LUL ... ( just kidding i think they should fix here and there ... may be plane should cost more point to spawn ) at least right now i dont see the fighting drone only scouting drone so we are kinda safe for now
@@annguyenlehoang7779 i think the plane costs are fine, but there definitely needs to be a limit and a cooldown on the amount of aircraft per team. The cooldown is per player though so one person cant sit and spam planes back to back.
In order to use to APS properly, you need to make sure the front of the turret is pointed RIGHT AT the missile. And it doesn't work on missiles that are Wire-Guided because they can't be jammed.
What I have noticed is that the time fuse HE is even worse if you are using it on tanks! If you laz the top mounted hmg or the front of the turret it ,apparently at least, will explode before the lazed distance and will do nothing.The only way to use it,is if you laz the top hmg and then shoot at the front of the turret and also if you laz the back of the tank and then shoot above the turret or maybe, just maybe, if you are lucky enough under the chassis of the tank on the tracks and even more rarely on the ground(very light tanks).Well I dont know if it is just me, but that seems to be the only ways, idk.
Timed fuse is not for air targets. It was made against entrenched infantry irl. So it explodes directly above the lased target. If you use it against an air target, that isn't stationary, by the time the shell arrives, the target is nowhere near... Even if it moves slowly.
For the timed shells, aim top attack on any turrets. It even 1 shots the abrams m1a2! The shell is amazig. Always try to center the top of the turret und the thing just shreds
I still say there needs to be a hard limit on all planes/helos/drones that can be spawned in at 1 time per team, as well as higher SP cost the higher the BR of the plane is
There actually is a higher SP cost for higher BR, similar to ground vehicles, it's just not that significant (also similar to ground vehicles). I don't think a hard limit is really necessary, and could in someone whose used their full tank lineup being stuck waiting for their air vehicle to spawn...plus, a full sky finally allows some spaas to actually have some fun. I think the problem is that incentives to spawn in spaas is really low since a lot of the times, there's nothing to shoot at. One thing that might help this is a CAS indicator that informs both teams the number of planes/helis/drones currently spawned in, so players don't have to get bombed before realizing an spaa spawn is a good idea
tbh, keeping the HE-VT would not hurt you, it's just the regular Russian HE shell with a fuze in it, so you can use it as a regular Russian He-Frag round
The timed fuze shell is literally just the one on the T90A, it functions almost exactly the same as other Russian frags, you can shoot the same spot on NATO mbts with this round as you do with others, also if an rotary aircraft is semi stationary the fuse works wonders,
The k stands for command. Thats the reason it has slightly less ammo. It has also a diesel engine instead of a gas engine, because it can travel more distance and operate longer...

K is for komandirskiy, standing for the command variant of the relative tank🤓 The T-90AK for example it's armed with additional AK rifles (jk, still...the more you know🤣)
I feel like the Su-25 is for quick lightning strikes. Similar to jet bombers and WWII heavy fighters: Get in, make your drops then GTFO and ALWAYS KEEP YOUR SPEED. I don't believe it can loiter like the A-10 can (unless you stay fast?) but that's my quick initial opinion.
The UK is the commander variant of the tank commander is spelled kommander since russia dosent have have a c in its alphabeth also the 3BM59 is the svinets 1 and the 3BM60 the svinets 2.
I personally think Drones are a good idea that were badly implemented. But overall, I think it balances out the lack of CAS with guided munitions several of the minor nations have, Japan for example has a grand total of 0 planes with any sort of guided munitions, their one jet that is MADE for air to surface only carries dumb bombs, Zunis and Mighty Mouse rockets, with the weapons it has that are missing being anti-ship missiles.
Hey Gaijin did semi mess with the sounds but only adding Radio effects and a response to calling artillery which is actually pretty chad ngl... either that or I used a radio mod for way to long and thats been around for a bit lol

It didn't surprise me that not a whole lot came out this update came out relatively quick not to mention it's the September update those are never really big this makes me think that something special is being planned for November maybe f16s and mig 29s
Timed fuse shells are very good for killing tanks behind cover if you get the opportunity to range them. I have killed a handful of people, especially USSR cancer tanks using the timed shell on the US Merkava. Its hilarious and can really save you sometimes. Its also good at taking out light tanks. Its honestly useless against helis though unless they are so braindead that they literally are not moving and just sit in hover mode.

Also, it sounds like the SU25 is badly modeled as I've heard from the frogfoot pilots that it actually takes some time to get up to accelerate as the intakes are smaller than they really could be. Like we really need another T80 to one shot me from any angle regardless of where they hit me... really?
I've been getting "screen shake" whenever i'm firing the main gun while aiming. Anyone knows how to disable it? It's really disorienting whenever i'm firing
