@dangerzone6372 He still has to wait for him to arm himself. He could've walked away himself and not shot him in the back. Before you say stand your ground. I live in Florida and conceal carry every day. This was murder, watch the video of him doing it before you make stupid comments. If you've already watched it then that makes you look even dumber with your comment.
@@dangerzone6372 that's problem with people like you, always thinking (what if) making assumptions up in your head then acting on your assumption. Just like the cops, thinking because somebody moves they were (gonna get a gun) that's what happens in brain controlled by fear based thinking.
I saw a long video of the entire incident from the neighbor's camera doorbell, Gonzales acted cool as a cucumber when the police arrived as if he did nothing wrong, and had not a bit of concern.
@greatsol2444 what is it with New Mexico? I worked a 14 month DHS contract & it would take me through there, always got the oddest vibe there, more so than El Paso.
@@craftycraftlol3472 HE executed that guy shot him 3 times in the back then walked up and said now your dead, this guy is about as cold blood killer as you can get, I cant believe he didnt get 1st degree murder the guy was unarmed and walking away
@@paulettebarrow9791 I 100% agree . I watched the whole raw video of what happened and the guy was walking away .Swear it looked like he started shooting within a second or 3 max of him turning his back to walk away . If I was on that jury I would have held onto a guilty in first degree . Have you seen the whole video yet ? It makes me so disgusted to think he claimed he was in fear 😡.
@@craftycraftlol3472 Yea I saw the whole vid thats why I dont get this at all do you know what he ended up getting cuz if he got off Im gonna throw up.
Crazy how he told his own brother to walk away from a confrontation and that it was beneath him. But yet he murders a man who isn’t armed over a petty fight over speeding. I guess shooting a defenseless man wasn’t beneath him.
Apparently this tool also had a criminal history that also included child molestation? Theft? Assault? Why the hell did he have a gun, AT ALL?!?!? Claiming HE IS THE VICTIM??? His life wasn't threatened. The other person DID NOT HAVE A GUN and was running away, when he got shot and killed - IN HIS BACK!!!
Whoa! This just took the whole thing to another level. His brother's a murderer too! I'm so upset that this guy was acquitted on first degree murder. I want to see him behind bars!
Sooo, two murderous, crazy brothers, & a murderous crazy cousin, all from the same family tree. Discussions at their family reunions must go over very well.
He shot an unarmed man who was walking away from him three times in the back and the jury agreed that it was “Self Defence”??? The other brother committed crimes against a child and is heading to prison for decades. What a great family…..
@dangerzone6372 You’re right. The family is clearly amazing. Most great families have a few family members just like these two well adjusted and not at all unhinged individuals.
@paulettebarrow9791 The jury acquitted him of first degree murder on May 2. However, they couldn’t come to an agreement on the charge of 2nd degree and looks like the prosecution will try him again. It’s in the Albuquerque Journal. In my opinion, it was clearly first degree murder. He shot an unarmed man three times in the back. He claimed that he believed the man was going to get a gun so he had to shoot him in self defense. That’s a ridiculous argument on its own but even more so considering there were no weapons in the victim’s vehicle. If they let him off the hook, it will set a precedent that you can just shoot someone as they walk away because you think they are going to get a weapon to harm you.
You should see the bodycam footage, he complains about them putting handcuffs on him because he was the 'victim' in all of this. Hope he never sees the outside of a prison.
Guy is a pos and should never be allowed out of jail. You can tell by the way he was acting the entire time that he thought he was in the right. If you believe your lying eyes, he was absolutely not justified!!
Abner Antillon was driving 25 mph as he passed Joseph. There is a high quality home security footage that shows Abner drive 72 ft in 2 seconds. One can get a good judgement of distance by Joseph's fence in the video. He was not speeding by the traffic standards of New Mexico of Residential roads which is 30 mph. Joseph yelled to Abner, not because he was speeding, but because his truck was in the street as Abner passed and he wanted Abner to go slow or stop for him.
Right and when you are going by a vehicle rightly there or not just a few feet away you can be normal and take it a little easy. Deal is we don't know what all was said by the dead man to the shooter. You say the right (wrong) things and you can rightly end up dead. Could be what happened here
I think the guy was going too fast in that narrow road and why did he back all the way up to confront him?? Like I have said before….why can’t people just flip each others off and move on like we used to do?? Shame!!
@@BOLOforJESUStheTRIBULTIONear Agree with you to just move on. Abner was pursuing his bachelor's degree in Psychology. He probably had a feeling he should not have confronted him, but let his emotions over take his better judgment.
This dude has a list of crimes on his record and yet legally owns a gun. I know that criminals don't respect the laws but if a criminal gets caught with an illegally owned gun I like the idea that he will be charged for it. Maybe because of that he won't carry it to a restaurant or someplace else where someone looks at him wrong and gets shot.
just horrible to learn this was dropped to 2nd degree murder...with all his previous convictions, including child molestation, the thought of this guy ever on the street free again is disturbing! when will the justice system keep us safe..
The judge thought the community service and probation sentence she gave Fabian for his previous heinous crimes would put him on the strait and narrow...... he should have already been in a cage for life, at the minimum. The judge added that "you win some and you lose some", no big deal.
Even though I don’t want to know who those monsters are, but something isn’t right about the whole Gonzales family. Because he got arrested like Fabian and Jessica Kelly
Guy never should have gotten out of his car. People, fluffing up your ego rarely ends well. Just be kind and compassionate and avoid lunatics like this guy.
How this jury let this guy walk is a mystery. He knew all the right things to say at the scene. It was as if he had been hoping this would happen for years, so he could see if he could get away with it. He did.
You can't shoot people in the back. The driver made a big mistake stopping and pulling his vehicle back down the street to mouth off to the shooter. He was definitely looking for a conflict. It is always better to avoid escalating a situation. The whole video of the incident is on youtube and you can clearly see and hear the shooter telling the driver to slow down. Then the driver stops down the street and pulls back down the street and gets out of the car and begins yelling at the shooter. Then at some point the shooter fires a warning shot at the street, the driver starts to walk away and the shooter shoots him in the back. This was so senseless.
@BOLOforJESUStheTRIBULTIONear 😉......... (I know) Imagine if Mr Gonzales DIDN'T say anything and the speeder plowed into a group of children killing or crippling them...
The main issue, is he shot the guy, in the back the guy was leaving, now, the defense for that is claimed he threatened to go get his gun, was there a gun in the dead mans Jeep/Bronco? If the guy was running to the car to get a gun, then yes, this man had every right to shoot the other man. If not it is murder/man slaughter.
Antion was "studying psychology" and he couldn't de-escalate the situation he was in... says a lot for those that believe "social workers" should replace the mean police.
Every state has different gun laws. What is legal in one state isn't legal in another. In my state unless you have a concealed gun permit you can be arrested for having a gun on your hip while operating a vehicle as the gun is concealed by the exterior of the vehicle.
This is why you don't argue with random people or approach anyone. You never know what that person is willing to do. I mean, is it worth it? this dude shot this man for nothing, plain and simple. If guy was armed maybe I would understand or if dude was a threat at the moment. Guy was walking away, that didn't look like immediate danger to me.
this isnt a comment about the story; but the news. i've been off msm for some years now, every time i see a clip, its jarring how further the medium has regressed. i feel sorry for anyone who puts even an infinitesimally small amount of stock into anythng these assets have to say about anything.
saw the arrest video, The other guy was obviously thinking "that bark ain't gonna bite"- his education made him curious, but not curious enough to see he was dealing with a psycho.
Dead dude couldnt just keep driving, nope. He stopped, backed up, and approached the "murderer", got into a debate about the velocity and kenetic energy transfer of an internal combustion transportation device and ended up losing that debate. If you have a wife and kid on the way, WTF are you out speeding down narrow residential roads, and then confronting people toe to toe if they call you on it? Too bad they didnt get you BEFORE you procreated.
Dude came back and pressed Joseph, then it was too late to run away. That's how the streets work, just listen to the rap music that's all they talk about.
What would the cops have done if they told someone to slowdown.and that person reverses all the way up to their vehicles in the wrong side of the road. Gets out of the truck and walks up to the police officers and tells them he is going to fuck them up. This is his street. And then walks back to his truck?
@@TonyCox1351 But, if the shooter would have done that(cuffed him), that's false imprisonment/kidnapping. Just playing the Devil's advocate here. I clearly saw the victim being shot as he's walking away. No way anyone is going to win that one in a court of law.
