Brother QL500 V QL570 

Great review, got the 500 for...i think 10 years or, bought it new back then. Works still perfectly, and they upgraded the driver and the Software over the years, so you can run it on Windows 10, MacOS, you name it. Great little device.

Amazing little printer. Its unbelievable but a lot of these are still in use today.

Here it is, six years later in 2021 and I found this video to be extremely helpful in comparing these two printers. I have the 500 but am looking to print a lot of "stickers" for the White Rose movement and stumbled onto this great review. I wasn't looking to "upgrade" to the 570 but I see that there are some great options on eBay so as a result of watching this, I'm going to do it!

Nice video, thanks. Came here cos my QL-500 did not want to print but I discovered that I had put the label upside down and was feeding it from under than from the top! That was a very simple fix. But interesting to know about the QL-570, looks nice indeed. I have had my QL-500 for like donkeys years and I use the continuous labels only and it still cuts just fine. I stopped buying the expensive Brother labels and got some generic ones which are just as good and quite long as well. Might get that QL-570 as a backup as well for my small business. hi there, I can't seem to get the printer to print E-bay shipping label correctly, have the ql-570 with. I've set it to 7 inches and it does not seem to fit on it, i've also tried all the other shipping setting but no luck. any help in changing the setting and make it fit would be much appreciated.

I'm having a problem with my QL-500. EVERY single print pulls the roll just a tad too far foward, so after every print I have to readjust it unless I want to skip and therefore waste one label on the roll. Any idea to fix it? I already cleaned the drum of the printer but that did not help.

Hello, thanks for the video...very informative. I already have the 500 and would like to update to the 570...I have hundreds of templates stored, would I have to redesign them for the 570 or do they run the same software?

I am struggling to find a Ribbon printer at an affordable price. Do you know if this would print onto Satin Ribbon? Just wondering, if I switched the label roll with satin whether it would take it in and print on it?
