I randomly decided to learn how to thread this machine at like 10pm. Ended up finishing a skirt I’ve been procrastinating for almost a year now in about 15 minutes. THANK YOU
Thank you for taking the time to make and share this video. My wife had bought herself a machine and when we opened the box and saw all the knobs/settings neither her nor i had any idea what to do. So after watching a couple of failed "how to" videos We then found this one and it answered our questions and we was sewing in no time. I'm sure i,ll still hand sew my work cloths and such but that's to avoid breaking Her machine.lol Thanks again and take care. ::Subbed::Voted:
The very best DIY video on this machine. Hands down. My kids and I followed step by step to thread this baby and boy was it a breeze compared to following the written instructions. Thanks so much for making our arts and craft time well worth the effort.
Did not think that I would EVER be able to thread or do anything else on the sewing machine, thanks to this video now I can!! SO grateful for this video:)
Thank you for this video. I have an older Brother sewing machine that I haven't used too much but I still have all the stuff for. It's been stored for about 10-12 years. I'd like to get the machine out now and start using it and I was happy to find this tutorial very helpful! Thank you!
Hi I love my brother sewing machine but I have a ce1800 and for the life of me I cannot get it to wind the bobbin. I have not found a vido on how to do it correctly. Can you help .I have complete worn out 3 brother's in my life time sold on them thank you I
Thank you soooooooooo much. You taught me how to sew using a machine. Sending many blessings. Machine Sewing is a fabulous skill and thanks to you I can do it.
First time sewing ever with a Brother...thanks, I created a dog bed, fixed a shirt with a hole, and patched my little dog bed. To think I've been afraid of this machine for 5 years now. Thanks so much.
Was using the video with the Asian voice, then saw this one that said English, its American accent but much better to listen to for me. Its a really good tutorial , I'm actually excited to have a go and it sounds like other non sewers have managed to do it so thanks and fingers crossed .
This is the best video I’ve seen yet explain and shows all details on every inch of wht needs to be done I put my machine away I was so mad with the thread 🧵 kept breaking and I now know why so thanks to person whom made this video
Richard Witherspoon me too from another old man . this video kind of buttons up my confused study of the operation manual. and I was grooving on the funky 70s. style piped in music
1:20 Police Department has been designed for design mission. Well, I didn't know much about sewing machines. Now if I find a Brother machine like this I know where to find the DVD instructions.
The captions on this are _crazy_ , lol. Thank you for posting. Just starting to use a machine and I didn’t have a manual. Couldn’t figure out what the reverse lever and button hole stitch settings were.
On most areas I was ok though what you said sometimes did not match exactly what you were doing. Regardless, I truly appreciate the time you took to do this guide! I have not sown anything (except by hand) since I was in 7th or 8th grade. I was able to keep up until you got to the buttonhole tutorial. I WAS COMPLETELY LOST but that is ok. Thanks for this helpful tutorial!!
Della Armenta, at about 6:20 she explains how to raise the bobbin thread to the top of the machine, by raising the Pressure Foot and slowly turning the hand wheel toward you once to raise the needle, pull on the upper thread and the lower thread will come out, pull out the threads with your fingers. She just did not explicitly say it.
I'm sure Sonic Adventure fans would catch the exact same notes and instruments from Twinkle Circuit on 0:28. That and the blue words on the 30 second mark felt like a sutle Sonic reference lol
I have NEVER laughed so hard in my life! I could not take this video seriously... the sub title Is HILARIOUS. if the video was a tad bit slower and the subtitles removed, it would be easier for a beginner to follow. I just couldn’t stop laughing to do so.
HELP needed please, Great video thank you, had my machine years but never used the button hole attachment, I have trouble with ‘d’ the machine will not stitch down its fine with a b and c,. What can I do please ?.....
Great Sewing primer!!! *BUT* , There should be an advisory to those who understand english,,,,,,,, *_"Do not read subtitles"_* !!! I did read 'em ,, and some of 'em had me rolling on the floor!!! As i said it's a great video and i would normally have only had to watch it once , however if i read the subtitles i got so distracted by the _speech to text_ translations I'd be distracted by chuckles fro the next 5-10 seconds!!! And have to replay!
Does any one know how to put they little gray knob back in the bottom of the machine??? I took it out to reload with string but can’t put it in.. help!?!
The video was interesting but in my 64years of sewing I have never heard or seen anyone unplug a machine to change the presser foot it’s not necessary you just have to turn the machine off other than that it’s very infinity for a beginner
