Hello, I got printer PJ763Mfi, I have done everytinhg to set it up, but when print, stecil doesnt show. I see it on black part with light, that it tried something to do, but never make it. I have density up and stencil mode on. What else i do wrong?

Paul please help? Recently bought Pocket Jet 763 MFI and I cant seem to print any of my outlined work even with changing the density option to high. If I print a picture its all shattered in the stencil paper.

Okay I do a lot of work on my ipad, but primarily I'm printing from an hp laptop, will the 763 work with a non apple product?

Paul if my brother 623 dosnt have blue tooth how else can you print from iPad? As of now I use the brother with USB cable from a windows computer. Thanks

Did you buy the printer from the brother website or Amazon? And when you got one does it come with a power supply? I’ve read a lot of people saying that it doesn’t come with a power supply and that it comes with a fake battery in the back of it. Is that true mate?

My original Printer came from an online computer store. The power supply and battery are optional extras (as not everyone needs them) so they come with a plastic ‘blank’ in the battery compartment. Otherwise you’d just have a big hole at the back unless you bought the optional battery. Not the fakery that’s being suggested. Just a company attempting to offer the cheapest option to all consumers and then allowing them to buy only what is required for their needs. Makes sense to me. p

Hi Paul, big thanks for your videos. I got the Pj763 and was trying to connect with my iPad Pro, but it does not work. I can find the Pj763 on my Mac (Bluetooth) but on Ipad nothing is showed and I Cann't find it on Ipad with Bluetooth. Do you know which Problem I could have here? Thanks a lot for your work! Hi Feu, The problem is that the bluetooth is likely that another device is already connected to it (probably your laptop). If the blue light is blinking then no-one is connected. if it's solid then someone/thing is. The 763 only allows one connected device at a time. Hope this helps. p

@@ThatTattooShow Thank you for your quick answer. I thought that and I also tried to disconnect from the laptop. I did it but the interesting thing is, the blue light from the Bluetooth of the 763 wasn't blinking, although if it is not connected to the laptop. And even if it is connected to the laptop and I sended something to print, no data was got from the printer. Maybe something wrong with the bluetooth from the printer.

@@tattooshopl-ink6203 HI! Unfortunatly not! What I found on internet was about the "version" of the bluetooth of the printer. Something like the PJ763 is not compatible with the new Ipad and also not really with the new Macbook. I just sended the printer back and got a new one but the new version, the 773 and it works perfect. It works fast and you have some print-options if you use the brother iprint app. It works also if you wanna print direct from procreate, but on procreate you can't change the density

@@feudias if you want darker lines in procreate duplicate the layer and add multiply (layer settings) It helps when printing fine line stuff using this machine.

Hi, I heard about stencil mode for brother printers that needs to be turned on manually. Is it possible to do on iPad?

No you’ll need to hook it up to a computer and use the p touch software to change the settings. But honestly, if you use a 12v 2amp power supply, stencil mode is unnecessary. Hope this helps 👍☠️

Is there a way to get it to print mirrored? I wind up flipping my image on my iPad before printing in order to get it to print the stencil the correct direction.

Not currently. Flipping your art manually is the best option atm

Stencil mode is part of the firmware of the machine and needs to be accessed via the p-touch software on a Mac or PC

Hi mate can I run a ipad on the 723 just plugged in by USB (printer) - USBC (ipad) I don't think I need the blue tooth wireless option and would like to save £100 if I can. Any ideas?

hi! I need help, my brodher pj773 printer does not want to connect to my iPad Pro, it asks for the password, when I type the password, the last 5 digits of the serial number on my iPad, the CONNECT option does not appear, I reset both the iPad and the printer and it is the same again , please if you can help me I will be very grateful. The only help I can offer is to Try Connecting it to a Mac/pc via usb and use the p-touch software (from brother) to factory reset it. 👍

My ipad won't find the printer in blue too settings. Blue light for blue tooth is on the brother printer

if the bluetooth light is solid, something his connected to it. if its flashing nothing is connected. check that another bluetooth device isn't connecting/connected to it ;)

Hello! @Fuse Dias I just purchased the 773 and I ave the new iPad Pro and I’m having trouble getting it to connect. Do you have any advice on what you did? It’s powering on, the Wi-Fi light is on, and when I go to connect to Bluetooth it’s not showing up. It’s like it’s not picking it up for some reason. Please help @ThatTattooShow 🙏🏼

It’s a thermal printer. So you could print black and white images with fax paper.

In my experience it does. MFI stand for made for iOS btw.

I bought pj 773 WiFi a week ago and to be honest it’s not as easy as plug n play. Had jammed like half of the carbon paper box, wasted few hours only to get advice from someone to buy lower voltage power supply. It’s much better now but still not hustle free. My question is: Is it possible to change printing settings without using computer?

I've read you need fax paper to print literature and a lower power lead 12v 2amp to stop the chewing of stencil paper.

Anyone know of a (wired, desktop) stencil printer that doesn't require a mortgage down-payment to purchase? No, I don't mean a copier. A printer. It doesn't need to be ultralightweight aerospace aluminum with blutooth/WIFI. I cant justify spending nearly $800 on one of these brother ones. I find it kinda surprising seemingly no manufacturers make affordable, wired, desktop thermal printers. Again, it doesnt need to be wireless, compact or pretty. Just not pushing 1000 dollars.

You can pick up cheap ones off Amazon or eBay. Can’t day it they are gonna be any good though. Brother pocket jets are under $600 on Amazon. Considering how much money you will make off one printer and how long they last I would say that’s affordable. I’ve used mine for over 7 years with zero issues. Chris
