Hi MomDoes Stuff. A walking foot? Fabulous! This machine really comes with a lot of accessories! I need a new sewing machine like I need….well I don’t need it!
I strongly recommend spending a little more to get a better machine. I bought the Brother xr3774 in December of 2022 because they have a good reputation, they called it a quilting machine, and it came with a walking foot. It is not good for quilting. You cannot adjust the presser foot pressure. There is a ditch at the front of the bobbin cover that you have to tape over or it will flip your seams when piecing. The clearance under the back of the walking foot is so low that seams jam & get stuck under it when you are chain piecing. The screw has to be tightened often on the walking foot as it vibrates loose. Sadly, calling it a quilting machine was a marketing tactic, not a design description.
Can’t see where needle being inserted because presser foot solid & not clear. Ugh. I took the presser foot off a Brother machine that died & put on this machine because it’s clear & can see where needle going if have to stop & start, etc.
@@MidelinaReynoso It does embroider, but it's very limited. I'm working on a video now about the embroidery unit on this model. I hope to have it posted by Sunday or Monday.
