As a long gears of war fan, when the piano tune was starting in the e day trailer, we all knew who would show up … made people be emotional more than anything to see Marcus and Dom together again after 13 years

27:30 lore wise, e-day should be the most action packed game in the series. Imagine, the cog just fought a war against the UIR (pendulum wars) and like only a week later I think, the locust come out of the ground and kill 25% of the humans on sera.

I love that you picked up on them using Mad World in the e-day trailer. They also used the song is the very first trailer for Gears 1 way back in the day. That song has so much history in the Gears universe. Hearing in the e-day trailer when Dom comes on screen fucking broke so many people. You also had the exact same reaction. I played through the game on launch day but I legitimately had to set my controller down and stop playing for a few hours after this scene. Never cried so hard to a video game up until that point.

Imagine waiting 14 years 🥲 by the way, the developers left it up to the community to determine if Clayton Carmine lives or dies, there was a voting system that was determined by merch sold. There was "Carmine must die" or "Save Carmine" merch, I'll let you find out by the end of the game, which one ended up winning 😂

At 24:00 there's a DLC in Judgement that goes after Baird and Coles journey on finding reinforcements. It's pretty good after you get through the dreadful Judgment campaign.

Man I’m 20 yrs and it still gets Me! Dom was my lil brothers player through all gears (split Screen) when I was like 11yrs old and he was 7yrs old. When Dom died we Both cried badly definitely one of our hero’s 🕊️🕊️

It’s hard to accept, considering Dom has been with Marcus since the beginning. Hell, Dom and his big brother Carlos became good friends with Marcus when they were kids. When Carlos died in the Pendulum Wars, Marcus and Dom grew closer as brothers. The Gears of War trilogy is about brothers in arms; Marcus, Dom, Cole, and Baird being one of the best examples in video games. Delta Squad will never be the same. O7

Dom was my favorite character of gears, someone that made me think " i want to become like him" as a younger teen. He went through so much pain, so much loss, so many years of seeing people die.. yet, he always had a positive and friendly aura, even when the world seemed to have no hope left, he was always there for marcus and his brothers. I cant wait for E day, i miss seeing the duo together.

Hell yeah very good video and I can't wait for E-Day. Also yes Dom and Maria lost both their kids on E-Day and that gave maria ptsd and that caused her to leave to look for her kids and go missing for over a decade until being found in Gow2. Also that cutscene in Gow2 with Maria saying to Dom "Dom? Dom? Dom you awake? I brought you breakfast! The kids are at my mother's, so we get the whole day to ourselves!" that was on the morning of E-Day.

Ik the sticks can be wonky but change ur sensitivity idk why gears has it on the lowest sensitivity. I changed mine and the movement feels way better. N kage u came along way since the first gears🫡
