I just found an '83/'84, pristine, Focus 3000, all original, blue, with factory paint blue, KRAMER Focus 3000 fully logo'd on headstock, with the Holy Grail headstock. Bought it. Shipping to me at this writing. CANNOT find any other Kramer Focus 3000 with this headstock. Your vid makes me say- Yea!me! ONLY video i've seen on this information. Thanx!
Thanks for the video! I am always looking for info on the Eddie's kramer 5150 guitar. I have never seen them in person but for photos the Banana is on Eddie's 1984 guitar. The Kramer 5150 has a slightly difference but is not the Holy Grail.
i believe the story behind the holy grain headstock is that it was based on ed’s destroyer/shark guitar. one of the first guitars kramer made for eddie was a shark shaped body with the holy grail style neck. he hated the body so they mounted it on a kramer strat-style body and the rest is history.. if i remember correctly
Hey there, the Butala necks have a thinner contour along the inside edge of the arch in the headstock. The 84s are correct shape but widths are different.
