What an incredible experience to witness in the wild and beautifully captured. I saw grizzly bears for the first time in Canada and it was sheer jaw dropping wonder.
And what quality.... I think this will be joining my calming, forget the troubles of the world playlist. These are irresistibly gorgeous creatures and you have done them proud. Superb work, thank you ♥
Aww wow, what a lovely comment 🥹 I just like to go with how the environment makes me feel and that is calm and peacefully. They are so magical and majestic so thank you for saying this all, thank you ☺️🌲🐻⭐️
Thank you for watching! I like to keep it all real like I saw on the day ☺️ I will do the feedback soon, I go lots to say! I’ll start of with the 55mm on the 100s II as I have another wildlife trip with the 500mm before I do a full review on it 🙂
Wow, I didn't think that your footage and images could be any better, but this video is just so good. I've just managed to see my first black bear at the side of the road whilst on holiday in Canada 🇨🇦 it was a real moment for me . I can see why you keep going back to see them. Thank you.
The Fuji GF 500mm 5.6 seems to be a very nice Lens, compact and light weight. Now Fuji just need to update all their GF Lenses, so they can be more compact and light weight. Some of the new Hasselblad Lenses are very compact and light weight, though they have a shutter built into the Lens ! If Fuji updates all their Lenses to much more compact and light weight, then I guess that the Fuji GF system can take more of the market from the high megapixels full frame Cameras !
No no stop watching put on the TV and watch later! Along with Morten Hilmer you are reserved for TV watching only! That's high praise I can assure you haha :)
I'm so happy for you. I can only imagine how wholesome and fulfilling it must be to get the opportunity to capture such a brilliant footage and breathtaking pictures up close. You truly have honed the art. Despite the fact that Fuji AutoFocus is generally underwhelming, you never let it bog you down. Thank you for the visual treat!
What a great video Victoria. Loved the pictures, music and the birdsong. Slovenia is the epitome of you. Wild, Free and Awesome. Keep up the great work .👍
Thank you! And yes I did, I drove everywhere as I had a hire car this time. Ah well that is kind, I love Slovenia it truly is a wonderful place with wonderful people and I definitely be back ☺️🙏🏻
As always, peaceful footage, reflective music and artistic simplicity! It sounds like your GFX experience has been a little stressful due to the dark aperture and low shutter speeds. Looking forward to your full assessment! :)
Beautiful footage! Those cubs are just too adorable. By the way, I think it's safe to crank that ISO up to 3200 or beyond. The GFX handles it well, I believe! But I'll hear it in the review, I reckon. 😊
Thank you so much! and yes after checking the footage I realised it was all ok, the photos were still super sharp and lovely which is always good! I just always like to keep my ISO low as possible but it's great to know their is the option to have it high 🙂
Thank you for capturing the beauty and tranquility of the Slovenian wilderness and the magnificent brown bears! While the images and videos are stunning it’s your awe and love for nature that draws me into this inspiring adventure! I am curious about your experience with this equipment in low light. I had always assumed that the larger medium format sensor would perform better in low light than full frame cameras.
Key part to using this lens - mechanical shutter… any movement - even on fast shutter speeds - on electronic shutter, results in massive amounts of rolling shutter! This is for photos, and tested on the GFX100S… not the MK II, but still, the rolling shutter was horrible, and I don’t expect the new mkii to be that much better here
@@wildandfreevictoria yes, and I’m impressed how video holds up with your pans, and lack of rolling shutter… I have not tried video at all on GFX, I also have the X-H2S, much better suited for that, but I only shoot stills anyway
Ok, so who are you and why is this the first video of yours that I am seeing? This was a GREAT video!! Beautiful cinematography and story telling. It looks like I will be spending some time watching many more of your past videos in the coming weeks. I love these kinds of nature / photography productions. I have an X-T3 and a 70-300 btw.
Hehe well Hello there! I am Victoria 😄 thank you for your lovely comment! I have a lot of similar stuff in my playlist for the Brown Bears in Slovenia and the Wonderfully Wild UK wildlife - i think you will like them, I enjoy an emotive story telling. And I love the X-T3, it was my first camera for a long time - which I still own and holds a special place in my heart. Keep enjoying your photography and thank you again ☺️🙏🏻
Excellent video and pictures. It made me fell like I wanted to hug the bears. Ha! Ha! Too bad about the resolution on the LCD screen. It should be better. Although, viewing the shots from a larger computer screen is always better. Good Job!
I would been scared for to stay so close to them even in the hytt as you filmed them from. There has been a LOT of attack and killing by them in the now ROMANIA but use to be HUNGARIAN of ORIGINE in TRANSILVANIAN MOUNTAINS so I am scared of them. Good work and thank you for share it with us . Should try to get it in to the short film festifal this video . I am sure you would winn some of the many winning options. There is many and in many countries in Europe or at least it use to during the communist time for videos like your for to winn and for the efford.
Go to Romania and you will not wait long time searching and seeing them. Last days a young woman lost her life, encountering a bear on Jepi Mici road on Bucegi mountain. This shows us how dangerous they can be and react in certain situations.
Yes I have heard this which much be great to see but I don’t want to see bears by the road. I also don’t want to get eaten nor do I want to contribute to the problem of the bears getting too close to people. These are big predators and you have to take responsibility to not cause a problems for the bears or people.
Great content. Would be very interesting to compare gfx100 + 500mm against the xh2s with 200-600mm at 600mm. The xh2s has the range advantage of range and aps-c. But the gfx has the advantage of 100mp. Which one delivers the best image when framing of image is adjusted one to one?
Yes, it just makes it hard to see how sharp it is ok not. Because even then for jpeg you still hard to see what is sharp or not to the level of high quality image you get from the 100s II. But all was good in the end and I trusted the process 😄
It is amazing how much the cannel's comment section is censored whenever somebody utters some remotely negative, even if it is constructive. I watched this a few weeks back when it was released and noticed a lot people having concearns about your safety and other things, these comments weirdly are all gone. Literally any negative comment from back then is gone, and it is really obvious with the low comment count of currently 90 under this video. People notice how you treat critique and that you don't take it well. It is not a good look for you at all, because I have seen others pointing it out before me and now I can confirm it's true.
It wasn't a lot. It was just one person who deleted their own comment. and there was no reason to be concerned because I was with a group (as discussed in the video) not sat in a forest on my own in the open with bears because I am not stupid. But thank you for your concerns and there is nothing to be worried about - hope that answers your question.
Sounds a bit bitter for some reason Victoria 🤔 I think it might be his one lonely subscriber 😂😂 jog on fella and let her be an awesome photographer 😉 love ya zolty 😘
