Excellent review. I have an old 26" Citori but it is 38 years old and it has been reliable hunting up here in interior Alaska. . After about 20 years of heavy use the safety does sometimes slide in between over and under and will not engage, so I had a gunsmith pin the safety so the under barrel always shoots first. After 38 years of heavy use, the Citori served me well and I use it for waterfowl up here in Alaska, then wintering in Montana I use it every day with my extended upland season. I bought a 12-gauge and 20-gauge Citori each for $500 used in the mid-1980s.
You'll have to watch all three in this video series to truly appreciate all the information that is provided. This was what sold me on the Browning Citori. My new Cetori will arrive next week. Thanks for this great video.
Dear Jerry I now to old Citori. One is for hunting and the other for Trap. The hunting one is from 1979. I will like to blue the barrels. Prior to to that I need to clarify if this is solder with silver, tin or lead. Do you have an idea how to find out that?
Looks nice but you get the gun brand new and the fore end does NOT fit to the barrels once it’s connected to the receiver. $2900 on a Citori and the lever will NOT close. It’s literally impossible.
Not that I know of. You will only see that in auto loader and pump shotguns I think. I have several browning 3.5” auto loaders, for waterfowl and I was highly successful, with my call lanyard being nearly full of bands.
