Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath - Snow Blind (Live on KEXP) 

This band has been approved by Ozzy himself. They played a private gig for him in Texas, during his taping of his new show where he travels around with his son Jack. He said it was a "Sabbath meets Chicago" sound. They asked Ozzy if he had any requests, to which Ozzy replied, "Sweet Leaf". Asked if he enjoyed listening to them, he said something like, "If I didn't, I would have left the room a long time ago." LOL

Can't get enough of these guys. They're awesome. Who could think of covering Black Sabbath with bongos and a horn section. All are excellent musicians, and the singer is great. Geezer, Ozzy, Tony, and Bill gots to be happy with this stuff. Nice.

As an old school Black Sabbath fan I found this to be excellent work. It's a refreshing new twist on an old favorite tune and fantastic performance. Since this is the first time I've seen them I guess I'm now a new Brown Sabbath fan as well. Great job guys!

Man. This realy captures the essence of what made Sabbath iconic. Vocals are powerful. Brass killing it. Rest of the band, total backbone of the song

Wow, been into Sabbath since I was a kid, ( and I’m 55), first stuff I learned on guitar, after getting through the venturers and blues progressions and figuring out power chords etc. Nobody has come close to their sound since, even though the riffs and progressions are fairly simple. Although they are not satanic, the vibe is so unbelievably dark. Nobody has reproduced that darkness. You guys are frickin amazing, I think Sabbath was maybe a little to dark on some songs. You guys bring some light into the darkness, and sounding just like Ozzy and having an awesome guitar , with professional musicians just elevates everything to a new level.

As someone who's always loved Sabbath but found Ozzy's voice, this is one hell of an improvement.

Great interpretation of Snowblind, which is not one of my favorite Sabbath tunes. It seems to really work well with this style. Especially appreciate the haunting feel of the vocals. nice

Note: - I play a 1977 natural wood finish Guild S300A-D with factory stocked DiMarzio pickups. It *howls* thru a four speaker *tube driven* Fender amplifier.

All the notes are right but it seems devoid of its substance . The subtle drumming of Bill Ward makes really the difference .

I clicked this also hoping for some James Brown, only to find the singer has got no moves like the godfather of soul and sounds a bit like Aaron Freeman(Gene Ween). not that there's anything wrong with this, just an idea
