D. H. Adam Gase isn't the right coach for that offense. They could probably run the West Coast style, but Adam Gase isn't the guy. I could've ran a better gameplan than that. I love West Coast style football, but I'm not stupid when it comes to your best player being your RB. Let Le'Veon Bell run the ball more and get yards that way. Then maybe add in the PA pass to fake out the defense.

At one point, Goff was rolling out of the pocket, getting chased and instead of throwing it away, he chose to take the hit along the sidelines and take a sack. Like WTF!! Once he got comfortable on the field it showed. I think if he had started the game and had a better O line to help buy him a little passing time the final score would have been very different.

Maybe kitchens is trying to build a stronger QB-WR Relationship between Baker and OBJ, Laundry and the other wide receiver's. He knows Chubb is a studd and against the Jets we already had the game in the bag. So instead of just running chubb up the middle everytime and getting him banged up, he let Mayfield do his thing, get some of the nerves out and build a stronger relationship with his receivers. But I agree, They threw the ball way more than needed. Sure hope next week we mix it up a lil more.
